Unexpected Encounter

Alexander's POV
My hands are shaking with excitement. What a small world. Is she so desperate to work as a cleaner? I chuckled a little and grinned. Then, i felt the sudden madness surge to me.
I f*****g hate that woman. She looked at me like she's innocent.
The memories from the past rewinded so swift in my mind.
I really liked her so much. I even requested to my dad that i should marry her.
All the things she wanted, i gave it all to her. My whole world gone crazy on this girl. She's a f*****g goddess, i wanted to caress her and love her. I thought we're both in love.
" I don't even f*****g care about you. Everything between us were all an act. My friends told me and made a bet that i can make you fall in love and make you my slave. They've won because you're a fool". She chuckled and everyone laughed at me.
Since then, i locked myself on my room, crying my heart out. I stopped going to school. I spent months thinking about my foolishness. But everything has an end.
I started to take over my family's company. It did not take long for me to be my own master. I swore i'll take down all the people who made fun of me. I started with all the people who laughed at me. Their demise is my reward, i granted them hell.
Then, the most rewarding prize, i finally obtained. I took down her family's business.
" Very good, son. I'm so proud of you!". My father is an evil man. And i am the devil's heir.
I reached for my phone and called my assistant.
" Levi, no need to look for a secretary. I already know one".
Armina's POV
My superior called me and told me to go to the President's room to clean.
"Are there no other available staff, Sir? I am not yet done cleaning my area."
" Just go, it's urgent. I don't even know why you're chosen to do it." The superior immediately walked away.
Chosen? By whom?
I brought all the cleaning materials and went in the elevator. I reached the floor and when the elevator opened, I was so amazed with what i saw.
It looks so luxurious.
I saw a woman at the counter. I didn't need to ask where is the President's room. She immediately pointed me to it.
Maybe she's the one who called my superior to clean.
I opened the huge door with all my might. There is no one in there. But i started talking, hoping that someone might hear me.
" G-Good morning Mr. President, i'm here to clean".
No one responded.
I started arranging the cleaning materials when i heard someone walking towards the table. I immediately bowed my head towards the man.
" G-Good morning M-Mr. President, i-i was called to-",
He looked at me with fierce eyes. I never felt so scared like this before.
" I never thought you'd stooped this low, Armina".
My body froze. I felt the cold sweat started running through my skin.
" You don't remember me, am I right? You seemed unshaken when you saw me this morning."
I couldn't speak, I can't find the right words to say. I felt my heart's racing, i'm breathing heavily. I saw him smiling at me, he's enjoying the moment.I started shaking uncontrollably.
I tried to remember the guys i rejected when i was still young and dumb.
I was once an entitled, bully and careless girl. I hurt lots of people. I played the heart of those guys who fell in love with me. I don't care about their feelings, it felt that i'm so powerful at that time. I felt control over them and i enjoyed it. Many guys would die just to have me.
But i'm changed, i know that. Is it too late for my redemption?
I heard his evil laugh, he's mocking me. I felt so humiliated, i deserved this. I looked at him with fearful eyes, his demeaning aura filled the room.
" I-I'm really s-sorry for whatever i d-did to you in the past, i was fool-".
" Sorry? Hahaha! This isn't like you."
His stare suddenly became serious. A deafening silence came. His dark brown eyes are glistening as he looked at me. Suddenly, he stood up and walked in my direction. He stopped in front of me and held my chin up. I could see his handsome face. I can almost feel his breathing. He leaned a little and whispered something in my ears.
I got home around 7:00 pm. I went straight to bed. There, i cried and cried.
