Chapter 1: First day, First trouble

Chapter 1

Aria couldn't just fall asleep, she kept tossing on her bed, whispering to herself to avoid her mom next room to hear her. She is not crazy l, she is just happy cause she is finally going to her dream school " Golden High", she had taken the scholarship transfer exam with her best friend. Mabel brought the news of their acceptance earlier that day and both girls was over joyous and had imagine the adventure and fun that await them in the rich and revered school.

The next morning Aria and Mabel got their necessary school stuffs. The school usually deliver their uniforms to their students so Aria and Mabel had their uniforms delivered to them.

" This is so beautiful". Mabel squealed.

" I know right, the colors are so bright and it looks smart ". Aria replied

The school uniform was a white button up shirt, a blue short mini skirt and a blue jacket with ditto.

" You girls are really happy, right". Aria's mom said smiling coming into the room.

Mrs Lane is a single parent of Aria. Aria lost her Dad when she was still young. Her mother has been her only parent since then. Her mother owns a restaurant where she sells fast foods and snacks. That is their surviving means and Aria mom loves her so much that she does everything for her

" Yes mom, I'm so happy! Can't wait to resume tomorrow, it has always been my dream".

"I know you girls are happy but you must be careful of the rich, make sure you don't get yourself in trouble or have anything to do with them. They treat people lowly especially the poor and middle class".she advised

" Don't worry aunty, we will be careful of them, we just want to go there and study". Mabel replied her with so much joy visible on her face .

The two friends chatted for a long time and talked about the school before Mabel went home to also prepare for the next day.

Aria's alarm keeps blaring at 4am in the morning, it woke her mother in the next room

" Aria........" Her mom shout. " Why would you set up your alarm as early as four in the morning , don't you want others to sleep".

6:30am

Aria tossed on her bed and opened her eyes to the bright morning paring through her curtains

She jolted up as if she was stung by an ant .

"Oh my goodness, am late for school ".

She rushed into the bathroom and took the shortest bath ever . She hurried into her uniforms, she didn't even have the time to admire how it looked on her. She took her bag and rushed out of the room.

Her mom was papering the table for breakfast.

"You finally decided to wake up". Her mom said with full sacarsm " anyways have your sit for breakfast"

Aria rushed to the table and stuffed two slices of bread into her mouth and gulps down the hot tea.

"Be careful it just 7 in the morning, why are you in so much hurry". Her mom said

" No mom, I can't be late on my first day". Aria said with mouth full. She rushed her breakfast and stood up to leave

"Bye mummy". She kissed her on the cheek and bade her goodbye.

"Bye baby, and be careful okay."

Aria tripped against a stool on her way out, she didn't even check if she was injured as she ran out of the house.

"She is so clumsy". Her mother laughed

Aria came out of the house and sighted Mabel.

" We are late already". Mabel screamed out to her.

Both flagged down a taxi which took them to Golden High.

"Wowwwwww". Aria mouthed.

"This is so huge". Mabel whispered.

"I can't believe my eyes, this is really my school"

They walk in through the small gate.

Aria looked at the Big gate and saw a lot of luxurious cars going in and dropping rich looking student.

Three cars drove in one after another looking so expensive and screams wealth, Aria wondered who could be in those cars.

Aria and Mabel were so engrossed in there surrounding that they didn't watch there way. Then a loud shriek was heard.

Both girls jumped with fear wondering who it was, they turned and saw a pretty girl looking so rich, staring at them with pure disgust and with eyes full of hate.

She very saucy and can do anything to get what she wants.

She has her minions:

Isabella crown, her closed friend and also one of the cheer team, she is also an elite and always with Vanessa.

Marielle Sinclair and Melissa Dominion are also part of the cheer team vowing to be loyal dogs to Vanessa to be part of the gang.

" Can't you see" Melissa barked.

Aria stared wondering what they did wrong.

"Are you blind, can't you watch where you are going, you almost ruined my dress with your poor and wretched body".

Mabel stared at Vanessa and wanted to say something when Isabella landed a slap on her face.

" When we are talking to you, you keep your face down". Isabella roared.

" what do you think you are doing" a voice said behind them.

They turned to look at the intruder.

"Here comes the witch who never minds her business" Marielle rolled her eyes.

Lucy Joseph, an elite and from a rich family, she has only her Dad who is very rich businessman. Lucy is an elite but treat everyone to be the same, she is very pretty and has a nice body shape. She is nice and warm-hearted.

Vanessa and her crew never liked Lucy one bit which cause them to clash anytime they meet because Lucy proves not to be a rich and arrogant spoilt brat like Vanessa and her friends.

" Can you mind your business for once" Vanessa said to her.

" Who do you think you her to bully student in their first day and you kept barking like a dog".

" I really don't have your time this morning so I will let this slide." Vanessa turned to her friends " Damien is around right".

" Yes, he just came in". Isabella replied her

"This isn't over, poor girl". Melissa smirked at Aria and Mabel before they walked away.

"Rubbish". Lucy whisper between teeth. " Are you okay" she turned to Aria and Mabel.

"Don't mind Vanessa and her friends , that how they behave, I'm sorry you got a wrong impression on your first day. My name is Lucy Joseph".

Aria smiled and introduce herself

"Mabel Godwin ". Mabel said. "How could they be so of a much bully, we didn't even touch them".

"You are new right, where are going I will take you there"

" We are looking for the bursuer office to register our names thank you for helping us". Aria replied

"Or else we don't know how much trouble we will get today". Mabel said looking so pained from the slap.

Aria mouthed a sorry to her friend and they both followed Lucy into the compound.

" You look so beautiful in the school uniform". Lucy compliment Aria and Mabel as they step out of the bursar office.

"Oh really thank you, didn't have the time to check ourselves out. You must be an elite since you are not wearing the uniform". Aria said to her.

" Yes, but I sometimes wears the uniform it usually look smart and beautiful".

Aria wanted to talk when she fell on her butt because she was walking backwards.

" Are you always this clumsy?. Lucy asked " you also tripped in the bursar's office the other time".

Mabel laughed" Her day is not complete if she doesn't fall"

Aria glared at Mabel dusting get skirt and the trio laughed
