Chapter 2: My New Class

I open the principal's office door gratefully it wasn't locked, and yes I didn't knock before coming in, the office was amazing with a warm colour of grey and white, a well furnished table at the middle of the office, with three leather chairs....
"Principal Vicenso, but Censo for short, how may I help you young lady" and that's when I noticed the principal coming from the window side I guess he was on his phone, he looks kinda white like the Koreans,dark styled hair, tall, slim, yeah he looks good for his age though, wait how old is he?,well enough of that, now to focus on why I'm here. I walked to one of the two chairs and sat down then I crossed my two legs on the table as I folded my arms across my chest, before then he was already seated, clearly he was looking at my legs on his table...
"Aunty Trinna, I believe she was here last week" I said getting straight to the point, he withdrew his gaze from my legs to my face
"Oh so you're the girl she was talking about L-lali" he smiled
"Layla" I faked smiled
"Oh yes, Layla please keep your legs off my table" he said resting his back on his chair
"But it's more comfortable this way" I argued, he raised his brows, to which I rolled my eyes, I slowly withdrew my legs but instead of keeping it down I kept it on the second chair close to me, when I looked at him he had a frown on his face
"You said off your table" I said, while using my hands to clear my point
"And my chair" he responded, still with a frown on his face
He should be lucky he's the principal, and also the fact that I respect elders, I kept my legs down and smiled at him, his frown deepened then he was on his phone again
" Miss Elena come please" he said while on call with miss Elena? I didn't ask any questions any further, just waited, not quite long there was a knock on the door
"Come in" the principal said, a lady walked in average height, also White like the Koreans, straight black hair, brown eyes yeah she's pretty and young
''Mr Censo" she smiled sweetly while she sat on the second chair close to me
"This is Layla, she'll be joining our school, and since you were here when Ms Trinna came last week I'm sure you know what to do" the principal said
"Yes Mr Censo" she replied still with that sweet smile
"But first please pass me that pen"the principal said, pointing at the pen
"Here" when their hands made contact, her cheeks flushed pink while the principal was avoiding eye contact 'Oh.My.God this is not a movie, I can't stay here forever' I mentally complain "ugmm, ugmm" I cleared my throat interrupting their short drama
"Ugmm I guess I have to leave the pen" she smiled, her cheek still slightly flushed pink
"Ummm yeah ugmm" the principal said still avoiding eye contact
" Follow me" she stood up and so I did as well, then we made our way outside the principal's office, taking the stairs to the hallway, and all the way something has been bugging me to ask
"Ms white are you dating or related to Mr White?" I asked,
"Mr and ms white?, who's that?" she asked confused
" You and Mr White the principal" I said,
"I'm ms Elena, and he's Mr Censo" she smiled as we kept walking to God knows where
"I know that" I said, as I adjusted my school bag on my back
"Then why call us white?" She questioned
"You both kinda look white, so I'm guessing you both are either related or dating"I said, now staring at her
"No no we're not dating neither are we related" her cheeks turned slight shade of pink
"Okay" I smirked, it's clear she has fellings for him
"I'm sure your class will have history now, her name is Mrs Hailey,once you get there you'll have to introduce yourself okay?" Ms white said as we turned
"Is the introduction part necessary?" I asked in a bored tone mostly to myself
" Yes it is" 'oh great' I rolled my eyes, soon she stopped and so did I
"This is your history class Layla so if you need anything or have any questions feel free to ask anyone or if you're not comfortable with that ask me, ask for direction just in case you get lost finding my office " she smiled at me
" Okay" I said, with an expressionless face
"Go in now" Miss white said as she walked back to her office I guess................................

I went in the class, and as I thought all eyes shot in my direction, the woman teaching which I can remember her name is Mrs ....ah forget it, she came down from where she was standing in my direction
"Okay class we have a new students here, so what's your name young lady" she said smiling at me and it's then I faced the class, looking at everyone faces and guess what, I said guess what, the make up blonde from earlier is in same class as me ' this is gonna be fun' I smiled inwardly
"Girl?" She called and I raised my brows looking at her
"Your. Name?" She asked again
"Layla" I told her
"Okay Layla, my name is Mrs Hailey so if you won't mind introduce yourself to your new friends" ugh I want to puke at her last word
"Is it really necessary" still maintaining eye contact with Blondy who was already talking to two other girls, who were actually looking at me while they laughed and eyed me, I just smirked
"Yes, it is Layla so if you don't mind introducing yourself to the class" she said again pointing at the students
O-kay if it's an introduction they want, then an introduction they'll get, I completely faced the class
" Layla as you know, I like my things private and not shared" I said simply without a hint of smile on my face
"About yourself?" Mrs Hailey said
"And when I say private I also mean my information"I looked back at Mrs Hailey slowly, she just kept looking at me
"There's still some free seats so you can pick one" she said folding her lips in a thin
"Okay class let's continue from where we stopped" she said going back to where she was standing, I also went on, to the back seat of course, the middle row back sit, I love it there, few minutes I was settled, books and pen out
"So class let's continue our topic of the history of Reiden town seven mountain"she paused looking at all of us
"Before I proceed I'll like to ask you all a question (she paused again) what are the names of the seven mountains of Reiden town" she asked looking at everyone
'the seven mountains of Reiden town, I remember aunty Trinna taught me all about it when I was little and I used to sing a song to remember it" I stood up and all eyes turned to my direction
"Go on Layla" not as if I need a go ahead
"Windera, Flower blossom, Snow flake fall, Ever greenest, Water peak, Rocky peak, and Mystery mountain" I sat back on my chair
"Wow Layla,that was correct" Mrs Hailey praised
"A round of applause for Layla" and they all clapped, some clapped, I looked at Blondy who was clearly not enjoying it. And so the class went on
"And so we've come to the end of the class, see you all tomorrow" Mrs Hailey said as she exited the class, I closed my book, holding my pen and put them in my bag, when I looked back up, the three uglies were in front of me
"Hey nerd" Blondy smirked, which her two servants chuckled
"If it isn't Blondy, how's your boyfriend doing, I hope he's okay at the hospital, I really feel bad for him" I smirked, She was furious
"Listen Layla or whatever you call your self, you think your strong huh, you think you can beat up anyone, behave as you like, well your wrong, in here I run this class, every one knows that, so as long as you're in my class better behave accordingly" I laughed at what she said, by now everyone in class was looking at us, she was really pissed off
" Can you hear yourself speak" by now my laughing face was gone
" Once your done disgracing your self, you and your two servants should get out of here" I said as I lay my head on my desk ignoring them completely, the rest of the class went good and soon it was time to go home, I took my bag, exited the school and hailed a taxi to the outskirt of the forest, then from there I walked all the way home, before I could even open the door, it flew open ....
