Chapter 5: Strange Feelings

Layla opened her eyes, her vision was a little blurry, she shut her eyes tight then opened them again, only to see everyone gathered around even the teachers, from the look of things she was still in the canteen, someone was holding her, she looked back to realise it was Blaze, she quickly got off his hold.

"Every one back to your class" the principal said, immediately everyone jolted to their classes, clearly the principal was angry

" to my office now, Layla" the principal said as he turned heading to his office

"I'll come" Blaze said staring at the canteen entrance

"I don't need an escort bone head" Layla said, while she followed the principal

"I'm not coming because of you Lali" Blaze said as they kept walking

" it's Layla Bone head" Layla said eyeing him,

" and it's Blaze Lali" Blaze said staring at her, the fact that no one ever calls him by his name, he's surprised why he even said that, this weird feeling has been making him do things he doesn't want to.

Minutes later they were both in the principal's office, the principal sat on his head chair, while Layla and Blaze occupied the other two chairs

" I don't remember telling you to come along" the principal said staring at Blaze

"do you have a problem with that?" Blaze said staring back at the principal who immediately averted his gaze, now Layla understood what Natasha meant when she said ' no one has ever called him by name, or dare to look at him head on'

"No" the principal said, shifting uncomfortably on his chair

" then continue" Blaze said folding his arms across his chest *ughm, ughm* the principal cleared his throat , now looking at Layla, whose legs was on his desk

"Layla legs down please" the principal said, Layla waited for some seconds before dropping her legs down

" Layla why did you attack Jasmine that way?" the principal asked, gaze focused on Layla

" the question here is why would Jacksy or whatever her name is throw my lunch on the floor" Layla asked instead crossing her arm over her chest, she peeked a little at Blaze to see him already staring at her, her heart beat raced fast, she was afraid he might even hear it, she withdrew her look immediately, gaze back at the principal

" you sat on her seat?" the principal asked still staring at Layla

"of course I did" Layla said also still staring at him

"They are lots of seats in the canteen, why didn't you pick one instead of theirs?" the principal asked, resting his hands on his table

" glad you know they're lots of seats in the canteen, so I picked theirs" Layla said

"you shouldn't have attacked her and her friends like that, they're all seriously bruised, to the extent you almost beat up all the male teachers" the principal said , with a frown on his face

"I'm sure you were there when the male teachers tried saving Jasmine, and as the principal you should know she wasn't her self when all that happened" Blaze said

"I..I know" the principal said, looking at Blaze, almost immediately he averted his gaze back to Layla

"do you know what her father will do if he hears about this?" the principal said with a frown on his face

" then her father should have trained her well, and not a bully who doesn't know how to defend her self" Layla said tilting her head to the side still facing the principal

"Layla for some stupid reason you should have done what you did" the principal said he's frown deeper

" stupid reason? she insulted me using my mom and you call that a stupid reason?" Layla said standing up,her voice getting higher, her skin was already tinted red, and that didn't go unnoticed by Blaze

" calm down la...."

"stay out of this Bone head" she said glaring at him with anger evident on Facebook

"Listen Mr principal, I don't care if her father is a contributor or whatever, I won't let anyone insult me, NO ONE, and the next time she or anyone tries something stupid with me, I won't just losses it, I'll burn them alive and unleash what's left of me" Layla said, her skin red and hot, her bead was now glowing, veins popping out of her hands 'the marks' Blaze said inwardly 'no it can't be' he assumed, but whatever it is he has to stop it

"Layla" he held her hands, they both felt goosebumps, the spark of electricity when they touched

" calm down okay?" some how she calmed, her veins gone, redness gone, her bead has stopped glowing

"leave me alone Bone head" she said

"I'll be waiting for Blondy's dad tomorrow Mr White" Layla left the principal's office, not long the close bell rang

" talking to a new student like that, you should know it's not right Mr principal" Blaze said to the principal, who was still shocked by Layla's change, Blaze left the principal's office to the class, he got his bag then went out the gate, his driver was already there, and Layla was also standing by the gate when he stepped out

"listen Bone head, I don't know why you're doing all this, but I don't need your help, and stop following me" Layla said staring at him

"it's not called help Lali, besides why will I help you when I have important things to do" Blase said staring back at her

"whatever it is Bone head, and my name is LAY-LA if you can't say it don't talk to me, don't even talk to me at all, I don't want to talk to you and I'll appreciate it if you understand that. Bone head" Layla said, and just almost immediately her driver came

"one more thing, don't touch me again" with that she got in the car, and her driver drove away, to her home actually. Blaze just stood there, hands in his pockets, staring at the direction of her car, his driver was staring at him through the head view mirror"don't ask, drive" Blaze said looking out the car window, his driver started the engine, then drove off, all while, blaze was lost in thoughts ' how is it possible for him to have this strange feelings for someone, worse a human, he don't know how but he's going to find out, and those veins marks, that's strange, everything about her is strange, but he's certain she was human.....' all those thoughts till he got home......
