A beeping sound pierces my ears. My body aches and my eye lids feel heavier than I remember. The sole movement of my hand hurts a little bit, but it's bearable.   The fingers of my right hand are slowly placed on my temple, massaging the zone in an attempt to take the pain away.   I try to remember what's going on. After taking a deep breath, I open my eyes, taking in everything in the environment.   I'm sitting on a bed in a white room. Some cables are connected to my left arm.   My stomach stings. Trying not to scratch my belly takes all my energy.   It's obvious that I'm in a hospital. The unknown information is the how I got here.
