CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO JAXSmooth cream walls and dark hardwood floors greet me as I step over the threshold into my home. My body relaxes as I stand in the foyer. It feels good to be out of the Zoo, but even in the serenity of my house, everywhere I turn, I see Priya. The look of utter desperation was unfurling across her face.
