ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE

PART ONE

* * * * Five Months Ago * * * *

Coming downstairs, I saw my parents watching the daily morning news, "Sunrise daily", when

they reported breaking news saying, ' There are reports of the undead biting people’s heads and eating

their brains while the bitten victims come alive again', the reporter said as fast as he could-with a

worried look on his face.

'RUN FOR YOUR LIVES', he added screaming right into the news camera just before the news

went off air.

SORRY but there’s no time for formalities.

‘Pack your things ', my dad shouted, "Dad I’m sure it’s all a bunch of fake ne….” I was interrupted by my

phone buzzing with notifications from my friends and family all over the world. One saying, ' there are

reports of all over the world, about the dead coming back to life, people are biting by un known

creature, I call them ZOMBIES, if you see one now, RUN!!!! ', it said, “oh my God, there’s a zombie

apocalypse happening all over the world", I thought to myself, I was interrupted by my dad shouting, 'I

said pack your things', "Okay", I replied shouting, while running back to my room.

Opening the door, I was shocked at what I saw before me, it was a zombie on my window

trying to break the glass, " Ahhhhhhhhhhh", I screamed in utter terror, ' what ', my dad shouted while

running upstairs, " a-a-a z-zom-zombie o-on m-m-my window", I said stammering and shaking, shocked

by the scene in front of me, ' don’t worry Alexa, I’ll be right there with you', my dad said running even

faster up the stairs.

Still frozen solid by the shock, I barely realized that the zombie had broken my window and

was running straight for me. How would you feel if such a thing happened to you? Well that’s how I felt,

my heart racing and my life flashing before my eyes-WOW I have not done a lot, but luckily for me, dad

arrived right on time and grabbed me, pulling me out and shutting the door.

We ran downstairs where we met mom who was prepared and had already packed our food

and clothing in a very small bag, " That’s why I love my mom, always ready", I thought to myself, ' Let’s

go', dad shouted, opening the door and heading out, thankfully our neighbors fully packed and already

on their way stopped to give us a ride, my dad was hesitant at first but agreed soon enough after

realizing that we had nowhere else to go, soooo, he agreed and we entered into the car and drove away,

thankfully, it was before those zombies came, " WAIT, WHAT… ZOMBIES", I thought and turned my back to see a bunch of zombies matching our speed, " ZOMBIES", I screamed, " Ahhhhhhh, their catching up

fast", I screamed, " Drive, drive, drive", Dad shouted, Mr. Finn increased his speed, ‘ Ah, those runners’,

he shouted, ' s**t, s**t ', he added while increasing his acceleration, I grabbed anything close to me, I felt

something rock hard, meaning, I-grabbed-Lucas, oh my gosh, his cologne is so intoxicating, I could feel

his Abs-hard as a rock, " Stop imagining Alexa", I scolded myself, " Yeah, yeah", I added, still I thought, I

just wish I could stay like this-FOREVER,( By the way Lucas has been my crush ever since we stepped into

the neighborhood, Yeah, I know they call it love at first sight), ' we lost them', Mr. Finn shouted, ' No

one can match my speed ', he boasted, Immediately, we saw another zombie running towards us while

shouting, " Mr. Finn, look out", I shouted after letting go of Lucas, I suddenly felt cold afterwards, Mr.

Finn turned the car around, causing me to fall back on Lucas again, " Mr. Finn, would you stop", I

thought, ' s**t, the screaming', he shouted, screamers? I thought there were only the runners, there’s

still so much I don’t know about them.

Mr. Finn turned the car around making a perfect circle, now facing the zombies, he headed

straight at them and BOOM, we hit, causing them to scream even more, and guess what, we had made

the others angry, guess the screamers alarmed them.

Mr. Finn headed an unknown destination, 'where are we going Robert', (who’s by the way

Ruth) asked, ' We are going to the place where this all began', Mr. Finn replied, " where it all began?", I

thought, then I was distracted by the movement under the car, " did you feel that", I asked Lucas, he just

acted as if I was speaking gibberish, hmm, what a snob, I felt this movement again. I saw a zombie creep

out of under the car, immediately, " Ahhh, Mrs. Finn ", I shouted, I was too late, the zombie had already

gotten a hold of her hair, I mean why would she even leave the window of her door open, ' ahhhhh',

Mrs. Finn shouted, ' Mom!!!!', Lucas shouted, while grabbing her hand, trying to pull her back into the

car, at this point Lucas and the zombie were having a tug of war, in this situation, the zombie was

winning, ' Get your filthy hands away from my wife!!', Mr. Finn shouted removing a gun out of his

drawer and shooting the zombie three times on his head, and some gooey disgusting things fell on Mrs.

Finns face and Lucas’ well-built hand, “No not the hands” I shouted in my head, ' That’s what you get for

messing with the Finns', Mr. Finn shouted, where did he even get a gun, as if reading my mind, dad

asked him, ' where did you get that gun Robert?', 'Duh, I’m a scientist, our life is always at stake', Mr.

Finn replied, I never knew, I’m just discovering new things fast, I can’t process this, Ahhhh .

We arrived at an unknown destination at 7 o’clock pm, everywhere was dark and scary, what

if there’s a zombie here, no, Mr. Finn would never give us to the zombies, I think, Oh my Gosh, I’m just

confused right now, I just want to sleep.

Mr. Finn parked his car in the garage of the place, he came out and signaled us to come out

also, while coming out, I tripped and braced myself for the pain, but I felt something g different, it was

hard, opening my eyes, I realized that Lucas had caught me, we stared into each other’s eyes until we

heard the sound of someone clearing his throat, Awkward!!! Standing up and thanking Lucas, I balanced

myself and went to my mom’s side who was talking to Mr. Finn, " Mom can you please hand me the

food bag", I asked, ' sure honey ', she replied, handing the food bag to me, unzipping it, I removed a bag of chips, unzipping it and giving it back to mom, I silently walked to a corner, sat down and silently ate

my chips.

It’s now 10 o’clock and everyone gathered together, altogether we were six, I walked and sat

at the available space left-close to Lucas, I sat down and folded my legs up, ' Okay let’s try and calm

down', Mr. Finn started talking, ' Who has a question ', Mr. Finn added, " Me ", I said raising up my

hands, ' ok, You', Mr. Finn said pointing to me, " Mr. Finn (he interrupted me by saying, ' call me

Roberts') he said, " ok Mr. Roberts", I continued, earning a stare from him, " ok ,ok, Roberts, what do

you me by, ' we are all going to the place where we all began'? ",I asked curiously, ' Yeah, now that’s a

good question right there', he praised me as he started explain.
