–––––––– Harker checked his watch. It’d been several hours since their fight. Alison had to be hungry. He was starving, and he"d already eaten a sandwich. It’d been really good. He could eat another one. That was it. He’d make them both a sandwich and take it to her as a peace offering. They could eat and talk and then maybe go to bed. He went into the kitchen and pulled out the packages of meat and cheese. He took out four slices of bread and then grabbed the mustard and mayonnaise. He paused. A couple of days ago she’d said the mayo had upset her stomach, but he’d seen her eat it with tomatoes yesterday. He should ask her what she wanted on her sandwich.
