After talking to Ruth I realized that nothing could stop her from doing what she wanted to do even if that meant killing my mate. She acted as if the fact that Amelia now knew everything about us didn’t mention anything but I knew that was not right. Ruth was just being stubborn and since she didn’t want to see reason or even listen to me the only other thing that I could do was move ahead with my mate. So against Ruth’s advice, I decided that it was time for me to meet with the elders and discuss this matter with them. It was time for me to take my place as the alpha and although I knew that my sister would be hurt by my decision to talk to the elders without her. I just had to secure Amelia's place in the pack and my life, and there was nothing that Ruth could do about it.
