Amelia had been sleeping for half of our journey and I was relieved because that meant that my surprised wasn’t going to be spoiled. I didn’t want Amelia already knew the house but I figured she didn’t expect me to bring her back here now that I had introduced her to my sister. We had been through so much in the past few weeks and I felt that we needed to get away and get some time alone. Maybe that would help me in winning Amelia’s trust again.
