The meeting that we just had with the oracle went worse than I had expected it to go. To be honest, I hadn’t expected the oracle to tell us that Amelia was the answer to our problem. I wasn’t expecting her to tell me that the mate that I had chosen to keep was the one that the moon goddess wanted as the last sacrifice for my mother’s well-being. She said that the reason why I had met her so early was that the time for my mother to get well had arrived and it was best if we sacrificed Amelia. I asked her if there was any other way that we could handle this and she told me there wasn’t. She said that Amelia was the only way but I still felt like she was the last mate that I was ever going to get. I felt that she was my last mate but the oracle told me that another was coming. B
