JASPER’S POV
At first, I thought the meeting wasn’t going too well but Ruth had been on her best behavior and she hadn't said anything offending to Amelia even though I knew that Amelia would disagree with me on that. I felt like Amelia was offended by the questions that Ruth had asked but I believed that my sister meant no harm when asking her all these questions. Ruth was just curious about what kind of person Amelia was and I felt that she had the right to ask any questions that she wanted to ask. What I didn't like was the way that Emma had been on the defensive and she even seemed like she was ready to fight with my sister. I wondered why Amelia wasn’t controlling her friend and why she wasn’t telling her how unacceptable her behavior was.
