Aiden leaned over me and kissed my tears away. The simple act wasn’t unfamiliar and put me to ease. He kissed my cheeks slowly before moving up again to kiss my eyes.
“I am sorry to be the reason of your tears, love.” He kissed them slowly and soundly moving to my forehead.
The breath fanned my face heating my body up.
“This will be the last time…” He caressed my waist with his hand as he continued peppering my face with his sweet kisses.
“—you would cry this way and that’s a promise!” He showered me with those promising kisses making his way down the chin, on the neck and the neckline.
I shivered at the sudden temperature difference between my already heating body and his wet kisses. It produced unknown emotions that again weren’t foreign to me but definitely forgotten…
