“Milady…” Ryan started but I stopped him.
“Don’t. I am okay, was shocked? Yes but not anymore.” I smiled widely but the tears were burning at the back of my eyes.
“Don’t let him go Ms. He truly loves you.” Ryan said with a pained face but it only made me laugh… a hollow laugh.
“Yea, definitely!” I snorted but he seemed like he was the one with a broken heart.
Angered, I smiled and politely asked him to go. He turned and left while I stared at his retreating back.
“Iris?” Alan called and I smiled wide before turning and dusting off my hands.
