"Why are we here again?" Aubrey huffs, battling the throngs of people.
"Because Rey, it's my brother's 18th birthday and he loves racing - and we all put in money to buy him the car of his dreams; and I want to be there when he sees it." I say as people clear a path for me to my former home.
"I still don't see why we didn't go when your boyfriend left the house." Maddie shouts over the crowd in the street. "I had to give them some guy time. They've been hanging with us since forever." I yell back and Rey smiles. "That was only two weeks ago!" I wink at her. "I know." We finally reach the gates around the house and I buzz the intercom. "Lloyd! Let us in!" I shout and Lloyd swears. "Damnit Dels, Slater is gonna flip his s**t!" He hisses buzzing the gate open and Bri's the first one inside.
