My heart remained in my throat for each second they continued to test Roman. My friend was going through hell and for what? If my plans come to fruition we will be leaving tonight. A part, a very large part of me wanted to step forward and say to hell with it all but the smarter part of me stood back. One day we would return and he would need their acceptance for that day, it also would pose questions if I were to intervene in something I so earnestly wanted for my dear friend.
