Training and Frustration

Matthew's POV:-
I have been watching my woman train and try to control her powers while I just sit on my bum and do nothing. I have not been in the best of my moods lately. I am trying not to be grumpy 24/7 but it's hard when your world has been turned upside down by something that you thought didn't even exist.
I didn't believe them till I saw them use their powers. It's absolutely amazing to watch my princess play with blue electric charges on her finger tips and then direct them on a target and shoot 'em...... it's super HOT!

We had come to a rever side beside the forrest , out of prying eyes of human . They were practicing and I was just sitting and throwing stones at the river trying to make them jump like a frog on the surface of water and failing miserably .

I had come to terms with the fact that I am useless and good for nothing when she came and sat beside me. "I need a break." she huffed. "I think you do ". I reply.
She turned to look at me with sparkling eyes , "Let's go out for a drink this evening. " " This evening?" I ask a bit surprised. "Yeah." she replied. "Ok I am up for it " I reply.
"Up for what? " I hear Sebastian's voice. I turn to look at him and reply ;"We are planing to go out.....grab some drink this evening."
"That's not a good idea" . This time it was Chris and I was looking at him waiting for him to explain himself. Chris continued ;" Lucas is still looking for you Saraphina."
"Who is Lucas ?" I ask confused.
"He is the guy I was engaged to." replied Sara. "The guy I ran away from " she added .
wow...hold on ! She was engaged.....She ran away from the guy she was suppose to marry.
"Why ?" I asked surprised. "WHAT , WHY?" she snapped at me
I was shocked initially by her reaction....okay she is uncomfortable, she doesn't have to reply.
"Forget it......if you still want to go out I am up for it." I said shaking my head.
"Matthew I-" she started but I interrupted her ; " No it's ok . You don't have to share anything you are not comfortable sharing..... I understand you don't know me....it ok."
I get up from where I was sitting and move towards the river.

I didn't want to be near her. I didn't want to be near any one . I didn't want to say anything to hurt anyone. It hurts that she's still not comfortable with me but it's ok I guess I can't really blame her.
I felt someone walk up beside me. I turn to see it's Chris.
I give him a small smile , he does the same , I can see that he wants to say something so I ask him , " Come on say it out already."
He looks at me for a moment and then says ," Look Matthew, she's been through a lot lately and she's always been a bit of an introvert , give her sometime please."
I nod my head " Guess I should quit being a d**k!" Chris pulled me by the arm so that I was looking at him , " Look it's not like that..... I know you are going through a lot lately."
"Thanks for that ." I let out a long breath and shrug at the same time.
"You know what..... I am hungry . Let's grab something to eat " I say and Chris nods his head in agreement.
