Chapter 15When Danny woke up the next morning, he saw that it was almost ten o’clock. The sun was shining brightly and he could hear seagulls out on the beach. He looked over at Ian sleeping peacefully. He looked happy and carefree. Danny didn’t want to do anything to disturb him. He quietly got out of bed, put on his robe, and went downstairs. He was hungry and needed some coffee.
“Good morning, Danny,” Inga greeted him.
“Good morning, Inga. It’s a beautiful day,” Danny replied.
“It is. I hope you slept well,” she said.
“I did, thank you. It’s so calm and peaceful here, I was able to get some great sleep.”
“I have to go shopping and run a few other errands and I won’t be back for several hours. There’s a pot of coffee in the kitchen. I also made some hash browns, sausages, bacon, and
