Chapter 18The next morning Jess called and asked Danny if he wanted to come down and watch the interview of Dr. York. He could stay in the other room and observe but she would be wearing an earpiece so he could let her know of any questions he thought she should ask. Danny thought it would be a good idea to have Ian observe as well, because he would know if Dr. York was being truthful on some of the questions.
Jess sat at the table across from Dr. York and his attorney, Richard Klein, her back to the window through which Danny and Ian were observing. Ian noticed that Dr. York looked very nervous, but his attorney was very calm.
“Mr. York, where were you two nights ago?” Jess asked, after the preliminary greetings and explanation of procedures etc.
