Chapter 50 TarynMother Hubbard, my head ached like, well, like I’d been pummeled by a felon. I dragged myself to consciousness, peeling my eyes open. Everything in my body felt heavy and out of order. The stiff plastic enveloping my head made it impossible to look around and get my bearings. I knew I was still in the hospital.
