Chapter 26 TarynI glanced at my phone and cursed. As if the whole situation didn’t stress me out enough, I was already thirty minutes late. Evening rush hour traffic heading toward the northern suburbs ground along at a snail’s pace. Jeff asked me to be there by six. Shannon would arrive at seven—if she were on time. A big, happy family dinner. After a few weeks of therapy, that was the plan—sort of.
