Aurelia's POV Three days. Three days I'd hidden in my apartment like a wounded animal, surviving on stale crackers and the bitter taste of humiliation. Every time I closed my eyes, I saw their faces—cold, cruel, nothing like the passionate wolves who had touched me that night. The memory of Caesar's voice calling me "Madam" in mockery instead of desire made my stomach clench. How could they be my mates? The question circled in my mind like a vulture. How could the Moon Goddess be so cruel? My phone buzzed. Unknown number. "Penthouse. Now. Don't keep us waiting. - C" My hands trembled as I read it. The royal physician position applications were due in two weeks. I needed my wolf. I needed them. Even if it killed me inside. I have to go. The thought tasted like ash. I have no choice.
