Aurelia's POV
The tension in the elevator was so thick I could practically taste it. Leon's dark eyes were fixed on me with barely controlled fury, while the four Blackthorne brothers had shifted into protective positions around me.
This was about to explode into violence.
"Stop," I said quickly, stepping between them before anyone could throw the first punch. "Just stop. Everyone calm down."
Leon's jaw was clenched so tight I was surprised his teeth didn't crack.
"What are you doing coming out of Kieran's apartment?" he demanded, his voice low and dangerous.
Kieran stepped forward with a mocking smile. "Not that it's any of your business, but she was visiting. You know, like friends do."
