Aurelia's POV
The hospital corridor felt colder than usual as Caesar's words echoed in my mind. His accusation against the Blackthorne brothers hit me like a physical blow, and I could feel my heart racing with confusion and anger.
"That's ridiculous!" I snapped, stepping protectively in front of Adrian and his brothers. "They would never—"
"Aurelia, you need to listen to me," Caesar interrupted, his steel-gray eyes burning with intensity. "These aren't coincidences. Every time you're with them, something happens to you."
Adrian stood up slowly from his hospital bed, his hazel eyes flickering with that dangerous golden light I'd seen before. "Careful, Kane. You're treading on thin ice."
