"I'm not leaving this room," I declared, sprawling across the plush hotel bed with determination. "They can have their stupid resort. I'll order room service and binge-watch Netflix."
Cecil raised an eyebrow from where she was unpacking her suitcase. "Come on, Auri. You're going to let those jerks win? Hide in here all week while they parade around like they own the place?"
She had a point, but the thought of facing the Kane brothers and their entourage made my stomach churn.
"I just want peace," I mumbled into the pillow. "Is that too much to ask?"
A knock at the door interrupted my pity party.
"Ladies!" Kieran's cheerful voice called from the hallway. "Emergency student gathering in the main lounge. Apparently it's mandatory fun time."
