BACK TO NORMAL A week has passed, and I’m fully recovered and have sworn off alcohol and bars, forever! I promised Jeff. In return, he promised if I ever screwed up again, I’d be out on my ass. Homeless. I realize more than ever the dangers of getting stupid and the predators lurking in the shadows. Jesus! I was almost raped that night. I couldn’t recall every detail, but I’m pretty sure Franny saved my ass from a fatal event that would’ve marked me for life. I plan to thank him if I ever see him again. He’s the strangest creature. When I returned home from the hospital, my keys and bag with all its content have been left at the desk. My car was parked at the apartment, all squeaky clean. I feel terribly guilty for all the name slashing I’d called Franny. I wish I could take it all back
