Chapter 9

" Okay so try the dark purple shirt and the dark blue jeans. " Victor say through the door.

" Okay. "

" Oh wait. "

" What why. "

" Give me a sec. "

I wait there a minute and he comes back.

" Here. "

I open the door slightly and grab it and close the door.

" Really. "

" Yes, you need new everything. The last time you got new clothes was last year. "

I groan. " I need to learn to shop on my own. "

I undress and put on the clothes he got me. The purple shirt has a nice floral design and shows a bit of stomach, the jeans are plain and tight.

" I think the jeans are too small. "

" They're called skinny jeans, they're supposed to be tight. "

" I can't bend my knees. "

" Let me see. "

I walk out of the change room.

He chuckles slightly. " They might be too small. I'll be right back. "

I stand there waiting for him to come back. I bend my knee trying to see how much I can bend it. I move over to a stool and try to sit down.

" Jesus, It's hard to sit down. " I say out loud.

" You wanna try sitting on me. " I hear behind me

" What. "

I turn around and see a guy standing and checking me out.

" You heard me sexy. "

I give him a kinda disgusted look. " Can you go away. "

" Oh c'mon don't be like that. "

He takes a few steps closer and touches my arm, and I slap his hand away..

" Please go away, I'm not interested. "

" Oh c'mon. "

He grabs my arm and has a tight grip. " We can have some fun. "

" Take your hands off me or else. '

" Or else, what beautiful. "

" Or else I'm gonna beat you to death. " Victor says and he grabs him by the shoulder.

The guy immediately jumps back. " Oh didn't know she was taken dude. "

" Get out of here before I kick your ass. "

The guy walks away mumbling something.

" Sorry I took awhile, it was hard finding the sizes. " He says as he hands me the clothes. " Are you okay. "

I sigh. " Yea I'm fine, if it went any further I would've punched him. "

He chuckles slightly. " That would've been a show. Now go try these ones, I got two sizes up just in case. "

" Thanks. "

I head back into the change room and change pants.

" Oh, these ones fit better. "

" Let me see. "

I step out.

" Really. "

" What? "

He groans. " You need to stop baggy clothes. You are a beautiful woman with a magnificent body, why don't you show it off. "

" I literally sit in a basement all day, and most of the pack doesn't see that way, they don't really pay much attention to me. Specially since I haven't shifted yet. "

" Don't worry, it will happen you just have to wait. The first shift is really painful though. hey, stop distracting me, and try on the other size. "

I look down at the pants. " They're not that baggy. "

" Just try them on. "

I roll my eyes. " Fine. "

I head back in and change the pants, again.

" These ones are okay. "

" Let me see. "

I walk out.

" Oh you look perfect. "

" I don't like the shirt though, it's to high. "

" Awe, you look so nice though. Try on the other shirt then. "

I sigh. " There's so much to try on. "

" Yep. " He smirks. " This is only the first store. "

" What. "

" We have till dinner to try on clothes. "

" What about sightseeing. "

" We're going sightseeing when we're done shopping, if it takes us hours, so what. " He smiles.

I groan and and roll my eyes. " Really. "

" Really. " He laughs. " Now try on the other clothes. "

We spent hours going into stores and trying things on. By the end of it we filled his trunk full of stuff. Not even all clothes, we bought some games, movies, figures, puzzles, more stuff for mixing herbs. I had fun, I never really been out in the city. Conner is really busy so I usually spend time by myself.

" Need friends, huh. " I say as I continue putting stuff in the trunk.

" You need to learn to talk to people first, all the workers that came to talk to you. " He chuckles slightly. " Was awkward. "

" I'm not used to people, I've only ever really talked to you and Conner. "

" That's true, you just need practice. "

He closes the trunk. " It's only quarter after 6, lets drive around for a bit. "

" What are we gonna see. "

" Well, I was gonna take you to the zoo, but we have no time. "

" A zoo, really. "

" Yep, but we don't have time, maybe next time though. I'll take you to a few places. "

" Like where. "

" You'll see. "

We checked out a few cool places, just really big statues that people made, and showed me the beach. We headed to dinner at a steak house.

" This place is really good, whenever I come to visit I always come here. "

" What do they have here.

" Steak. "

I sigh. " What else you d**k. "

He chuckles. " Just look at the menu. You make humans sound like mythical creatures man. "

" I don't spend much time with them, nor do I know much about them. "

" That's true. You didn't really go to school, and you don't converse with humans much either. "

" I didn't really pay attention either. "

" I've spent a lot of time with humans, but I don't know everything about them, it's hard to know everything. "

" That's true. Wait you can fries with your steak. "

He chuckles. " You're gonna be obsessed with fries from now on. "

" I like potatoes, but I never knew you could do that with them. "

" You can also made vodka. "

" Alcohol, really. "

" Yep, have you tried alcohol yet. "

I shake my head. " Nope. "

" Well you are legal soon, Conner should take you to a bar or something. "

" If he's not too busy, he has a lot of work to do. "

" His busy schedule should clear up soon. "

" Hopefully, I haven't spent much time with him lately. "

" Don't worry, he misses you too. "

" I know. "

The waiter comes and takes our order and we continue talking.
