Chapter Seven

Theodore POV

Once I got back from Jakob’s pack I rested for few hours and took a shower.

I couldn’t help but think of what the oracle said, the words she said sounded so familiar to me but I just can’t remember where I heard them from.

Ben walked in my room and said “everything is ready for your first ever date man!”

“When are you going to learn how to knock?” I said in an irritated voice

“What’s wrong with you? You have been walking around with a dark cloud over your head since you got back from the oracle”

“It’s nothing; she just said something that is bugging me.”

“What is it; maybe I can help you solve it.

I narrated what the Oracle told me and he said “Ohhh that’s just the prophecy of the moon goddess stone, it sounded familiar because Tina’s grandfather use to tell us the story of the stone when we were kids.”

“Ahhh yes, now I remember… he said that prophecy was written 100 years ago.”

“Yes, now get ready my future Luna Queen will be here in any minute now.”

“I can’t believe that you booked the whole restaurant for the two of you!”

“What do you think it’s too much? You know what its fine!” I said standing up

I walked out of my suit and took the elevator downstairs.

Everything looks perfect in the restaurant the only thing that I have to wait for is my beautiful mate…gosh I hope she will show up.

I waited for about 25 minutes and she finally walked throw the doors of the restaurant, I got up from my chair I gave her a bow and her voice sounded so melodic when she said my name…

“King Theodore” she said and did curtsy

“Princess Samara” I said kissing her knuckles “Please call me Theodore and you don’t have to curtsy we are about to be equals soon.”

She was wearing a red sexy slit evening dress that has a long v-neckline; I couldn’t help but lust to touch her smooth skin. She let her hair loose and her neck was exposed, I can already imagine myself marking her and making her mine forever.

“Mark mate” said Hunter

“Are you insane? Do you want her to hate me and be scared of us? She doesn’t even know who we are yet and you already want us to be mateless already!

“Fine i***t, no need to bite my head off” he said rolling his eyes “You humans are weak”

I closed the link between us and look at my mate only to see that she was staring at me, I cleared my throat and said “I am sorry for staring you look so beautiful…”

“Thank you, your majesty…”

I saw her blush…I should complement her more often in the future she looks so cuye when I complement her.

I pull out a chair for her and she nodded and took a seat as I moved to my own chair and took my seat also.

The waiter walked in with Italian Chianti red wine and pours it on our glasses.

“You will forgive me I didn’t know which wine is your favourite I just remembered you having this one at your ball.”

“No need to apologies your majesty, this one will just do.” She said as she picks up her glass and sniffs the aroma of the wine and took a sip. “Taste good as it smells” she said signing.

“You seem like you know a lot about wines?” I asked her

“My grandfather the late king George was a wine collector; he collected wines from near and far. My brother and I learned one or few tips from him regarding wines.” She said while taking another sip from her glass

I nodded and said “Wine was my mother’s favourite, she would always say that it’s her immune booster and it give her the strength do deal with me” I said shaking my head.

“I am sorry about your loss” she said

I was a bit taken back and said “It happened long time ago no need to be sorry princess.”

“Yet you still mourn her, losing a loved one can leave a hole in one’s heart that you will live the rest of your life torturing yourself!” she said looking down

“Do you mourn to those you lost?” I asked her and she raised her head and look at me with widen eyes.

“I don’t mourn the dead…” her voice sounded so cold

“Enough about those that passed, I am starving what is in the menu for tonight?” she asked picking up the menu

We had our dinner and dessert peaceful once we were done I asked her for a dance

“Would you like to have a dance with me?”

I stood up next to her and she gave me the best smile ever… f**k Ben was telling the truth I am definitely whipped. She gave me her hand and we started to walk towards the dance floor. Perfect by Ed Sheeran violin version started to play.

We danced to it so softly, she fit so perfect into my arms…once we were done I gashed for her towards our table.

We started with small talks; it was actually my way of not wanting her to leave so soon.

“How is it that you are far from your country so long?” she asked me

“Well, I have subordinates that take care of the kingdom while I am here and if there are issues they give them to Ben. Which reminds me he is not my bodyguard, I heard you call him my bodyguard today.”

“I apologies, If I offended you or him your majesty.”

I let out a small chuckle and said “No need to apologies, one can easily mistake him as my bodyguard since he follows me everywhere I go. But he is actually my best friend and adviser.”

“I see… ohhh yes before I forget; my mother will be starting with wedding preparation tomorrow, she would love if you could join us for brunch at around 11:15am”

“Thank you I will be there, have you chosen the dress yet?” I asked her

“No I haven’t but I did give my mother glimpse of what I want!” I nodded.

I walked her out of the hotel. “Thank you for tonight princess”

“You welcome your majesty” she said nodding to me and I just smiled and she gave me a smile also.

“So am I forgiven? I asked giving her

She looked puzzled and said “forgiven for what your majesty?”

“You seem upset when I asked your parent for your hand in marriage.”

Suddenly her smile vanished and replace with nothing but seriousness and I could have sworn I heard her growl. I got out of the shock and heard her say.

“LET THAT BE THE FIRST AND LAST TIME YOU THREATEN NEITHER MY PARENTS NOR MY KINGDOM…OR THE NEXT TIME YOU DO, I WILL BEHEAD YOU! MARK MY WORDS FOR THIS IS NOT A THREAT BUT A PROMISE!

Somewhere far…

Third person POV

A woman and a man walk through large double door kneeled in the middle of the throne room.

“Your Majesties, we come with current news from the United Kingdom.”

They said still kneeled with their head bowed.

“Is the something wrong with her?”

 “Is she hurt?”

 “Did someone threaten her?”

“Where are the warriors we sent to protect her?”

“If anything happens to her I swear none of you will leave to see the next day!”

Said a woman who seems to be in her early 60s, with a voice full of worry and threatening aura.

“Come down my love let them tell us the news first and then if it’s not news that satisfies you then you can kill them.” The old man seating next to the woman coxed her and pull her so that she can seat back to her chair.

“SPEAK!” Roared the woman

The two messengers whimpered and lowered their head deeper.

“It is said that the Princess is getting married, it was announced this morning by the King at parliament.” Said the woman

“MARRIED?” this time both the King and Queen stood up and growled

“How dare those humans let her get married to someone who is not her mate? We should have never agreed on letting them raise her” said the king through clenched teeth

“This is all your fault, you said it is too dangerous for her to stay with us, now my granddaughter is forced to get married to someone who is not her true mate and might be a weak human as well. She will never know how it to live with her kind is like!”  Said the queen

The king looked away with sadness on his face “Who is it?” the king asked asked them while leaning back on his chair.

The man stood up and walked towards them and handed them the brown envelop

“The man she is about to marry is the Alpha King of Slovakie King Knight, it is said that the wedding is in two weeks from now.”

The king opened the envelop and saw pictures of the princess and the king walking beside each other leaving the hotel.

“LEAVE!” ordered the king

“She looks more and more like her every year.” Said the queen looking at the pictures

The king let out a laugh and nodded

Samara POV

I spent my day at the orphanage home helping out where I could; as soon as I was done I went back to the castle.

“Your Highness the queen would like to see you in the library.” The servant said

I just gave her a smile and walked towards the library, opened the doors and got inside only to find my mother and Sheila discussing the guest list.

“You wanted to see me mother? Hello Sheila.”

“Good day your highness”

I moved my gaze to my mom

“Yes, we need to start with the wedding preparation sweetheart!”

“Okay, but I thought ‘WE’ means you as always and I only pitch at the end of everything?”

“No this time around, this is a royal wedding and you and King Knight must take part at it and make face appearance in public as well.”

“But mother you know how much I don’t like being on camera.”

“We all have to endure what we don’t like Samara, now stop being a spoiled child”

“Fine, but can we do it some other time I am meeting the king for dinner tonight”

“That’s perfect then, ohh and do inform him that he has to come for brunch tomorrow to discuss everything. Now go and rest for now.”

“If that’s all then mother I will go and rest.”

“Yes that’s all, before I forget when is Rumi coming back and while we on it where is she?”

I froze on my spot, how am I going to answer this question? s**t think of something Samara!

“Ahhh Rumi will surely be available for the wedding, I just gave her leave for few days mother; weren’t you the one that said that she never takes a break?”

“I see, will you did a good thing then, that poor child work you all day and night none stop without complaining”

Wow, that worked! One point for me; I really need to check on Rumi and Josh they have been out since the night of the ball and they haven’t reported back to me.

“Alright mother, let me go and rest for now.”

I started getting ready around half past three, took a shower and sent Chris and his team to come and dress me.

“Well…well…well if it isn’t the Lady of the hour or should I say soon to be queen of the largest Kingdom ever!”

I blushed at his words, arggg… really Samara you blushing? What is wrong with you?

“Shut up ghel and fix me up!”

“Wow, you really should get rid of that tongue of yours soon before you are crown queen of that sexy beast” he said fanning his face

“You so gay Chris, and shouldn’t I have a sharp tongue since well I am going to be a ruler of the largest kingdom?”

“Well one of us has to be gay, we can’t all be straight, now let me transform you into a sexy fierce; you I am guarantee you that you might get laid before your wedding night.” He said laughing

“heyyy…why did I have to have a dirty mind friend like you?”

He rolled his eyes and sneer “As if you innocent”

“Now, I chose this red mama right here for your first ever date…We are finally breaking your dating virginity, isn’t it ironic…your first date ever is with the man you are about to marry” he said dreamily

“Hey this is not my first date…I went on tons of date in the past or did you forget that?”

He scoffs “Yeah right…the only date you have been on is with the king and your brother!”

“And those I count as my first dates with the perfect gentlemen!”

“Ohhh sweetie I worry about you sometimes…now please do not embarrass me tonight… if he ask you to dance please accept with those fairy teeth out to the T.”

I just hummed since the makeup artist was busy with my face now.

“As soon as you done with your makeup we will be discussing the wedding gown, the Queen told me that you want something simple yet unique that has a bit of vintage…”

I just hummed at him

“I will take that as a yes, now have something in mind…knowing your style I believe you going to like it and love it. I don’t have much time to do it but I will defiantly pull your dream dress for you.” He sighed and said “You going to look like a dream my warrior…now let me not disturb you and let you get ready.

Once my makeup and hair was done I went to get dressed…Chris really over did it this time, my dress has the longest slit and v-neckline ever lived.

“I know what you think and no there’s no option B tonight missy… you wearing that and no excuses I have been waiting for this moment for ages now, and I am going all out tonight.”

I just signed I know I am not going to win this argument at all…

I walked out of my bedroom and descended the stairs only to see my family waiting for me downstairs. “Wow sis you look like a million dollar bill…” said Ed with a smile

I just blushed and said thank you…my mom has tears on her face and said “Well Chris finally got you to wear that dress…you look beautiful my little cookie”

“Mom you haven’t called me that in forever…”

“Well if your daughter wants to do boys stuff instead of girly stuff they intend to suck out the cute nicknames and the mother’s love out of a person my love…you will also experience it once you have children that give you stress more that your duties does.”

“Now I have to say that I am so glad that this King wants to marry you so that you will wear more dresses than pants” she said in a mocking tone

“Mia, stop bullying my little girl…” said Dad “You Look beautiful pumpkin, Knight won’t take off his eyes off you tonight “

“Dad is right, I am even thinking that I should act as your bodyguard tonight…I don’t want any funny businesses.” Edward said in a serious tone.

I let out a laugh and said “I better get going now guys, I will see you all when I get back.”

“Okay, enjoy your first date love.” Mom shouted

I got outside and found Steve waiting for me outside the limousine

“Good evening your highness… you look beautiful tonight” he said as he open the door for me.

“Thank you Steve.”

We drove to the hotel in silence until I decided to break the silence “Has Josh or Rumi contacted you yet?”

“No your highness, their connection went died I couldn’t get through them at all this today…I contacted Issa to check on them but she has gotten back to me.”

“s**t, what could take them so long? I thought their contacted was already on site and by now they will be home. And I they broke all rules…they were supposed to check in with us every after two hours.”

The limousine came to a stop I looked outside only to see king Knight’s bodyguard standing outside the entrance. Steve got out of the car and came to open the door for me.

“Keep checking on them and get back to me as soon as possible.” I said to him before walking towards the bodyguard

“I am right on it your highness.”

“Princess Samara” the bodyguard said bowing to me

“Good evening”

“My king is right this way Princess” he guided me to where his king I at and once we were at the door he opened them for me and bowed for me. I walked in only to see that there are no other people in the room nor tables it just the King in here and a single table for two…wow I guess I am really breaking my first date virginity in a bang.

I looked at the king and he was wearing a grey suit and my Lord his is breath taking… I greeted him and made a curtsy and he bowed and greeted me back.

He took my hand and we walked toward the table.

“Ohhh my Zues…he is so dreamy, I wish he was our true mate because right now I will be jumping all over his face…”

“Moon since when are you this dirty minded girl?”

“Ohhh shut up look at this greek god in front of us and tell me that you are not thinking of him taking us to Olympian and back”

“Okay fine shut up and do not let him find out about you, although I since him to be someone I can trust I don’t want to let my guard down just yet.”

“Okay, he is staring at you say something.”

I looked at the king and I heard him compliment me I just blushed and said thank you.

We took our seats and soon the waiter walked in with a wine and pours it for us.

“You will forgive me I didn’t know which wine is your favourite I just remembered you having this one at your ball.”

Wow at least he is observed… I just waved him off and said “No need to apologies your majesty, this one will just do.” I took my glass and sniff the aroma and took a sip “taste good as it smells” I said with a sign.

“Didn’t I tell you not to surface while we are here?” I asked her

“Relax no one can sense that you are a wolf miss goody”

She move back to the back of my head and I just signed

Our dinner was peaceful and once we were done he asked me for a dance, and my mind went back to Chris words and did what he told me.

For the love off Zues this man is so muscular…i started leaning into him and smell I faint scent of rain and pine.

Once we were done dancing we took our seat and started talking and remembered that my mother wants to start with wedding preparation tomorrow so I told him.

When we were done he walked me out of the hotel towards my car and said “So am I forgiven?”

I was a bit taken back and said “Forgiven for what your majesty?”

“You seemed upset when I asked your parents for your hand in marriage.”

And just like that I was pissed and let out a deep throat growl remembering how he was threating my parents and the kingdom and said “LET THAT BE THE FIRST AND LAST TIME YOU THREATEN NEITHER MY PARENTS NOR MY KINGDOM… OR THE NEXT TIME YOU DO, I WILL BEHEAD YOU! MARK MY WORDS FOR THIS IS NOT A THREAT BUT A PROMISE!

To say I was outrage will be an understatement… I got in the limousine and weave for Steve to take me home.

“Well… you blew it..!!! To say I am surprise I will be lying…it was just a matter of time till you explode. At least you didn’t say you will keep the head as a trophy.” Came Moon’s voice

“Moon for the last time put the shut to the up… did you really think I was going to leave him and act like he didn’t threaten to my parents and my kingdom? I thought you knew me better than that…and beside I promised not to explode during the date… the date was over.”
