Samara The Luna Queen

Chapter five

Theodore POV

Last night was the best night of my entire night, i can still picture my mate and I dancing. Her scent is all over my tuxedo…she is perfect!!! I can already imagine her sleeping in my arms. I was bought out of my train of thoughts when I heard a knock.

Knock…Knock

“Come in”

“Good morning Alpha, or need I say Mr whipped…” Ben let out a laugh

Where did I get a friend like this? Ben is a pain on the south side…

“Soooo…we have a Luna Queen huh? And she’s a Human? And the daughter of the King?”

“Human or not she’s mine and I am not leaving without what’s mine!”

“It seems like you didn’t hear the part when I said ‘she is the daughter of the king!..”

“And I am also King, what is your point Ben?”

“Well again, the king is human…Alpha how are we going to handle this whole thing, we can’t just walk to the palace and demand the king and queen to hand us our Luna!”

Shit Ben is right; the humans don’t understand our way. I can’t leave this kingdom without her; I would go nuts without her beside me.

“Send a letter to the king, the letter must consist that I am interested in their daughter and would like her hand in marriage. Be creative you are not my beta for show off, you know very well how to play with words.”

“As you wish your majesty” he said bowing and leaving my room

I got off from my bed and walked to the washroom to take a shower. I let the hot water hit my back while I start to fantasy of my mate, she has beautiful brown eyes with gold iris; thin perfect lips a tiny nose that compliment her so perfectly. I can’t wait to see her without her mask on.

I walked out of the shower, wrap a towel on my waist and walked to my closet.

Ben made arrangement that we visit the packs and today we are visiting Alpha John’s pack which is on the far end of the south side of the kingdom and Alpha Jakob’s pack is at the north side of the kingdom.

“I did as you requested your majesty; all we have to do is to wait for the reply from the Whites.”

“Thank you Ben, and don’t inform everyone at home yet”

We are currently driving to Alpha John’s pack. It’s not far from the ocean I can basically see the ocean from where we are. We drove for three and half hours before we reached the boarders of the new moon pack. We drove towards the packhouse and just like the city this place is so peaceful and has that sense of serenity to it.

I was nothing but in awe…the pack gave out the olden century kind of time. Houses are full of half-timbered.

“Wow this pack gives out a different realm, it’s like we walked to another dimension; I wouldn’t mind staying here” Ben said facing outside

“I know what you talking about; it looks so calm and peaceful here.”

The car came into a stop in front of a first brick packhouse, I got of the car and I was met with alpha John and his family, his beta’s family and gamma’s family. They all bowed to me and Alpha John introduce his Luna to me “Your majesty; this is my mate and Luna of our pack Elisabeth.”

“It is a pleasure to meet you Luna, you have a beautiful pack.” I said nodding to her

“Thank you your majesty and thank you for taking your time to visit our humble home” She replied

The Alpha introduced the rest of his family to me and I just nodded to all of them, they invited us inside the packhouse for lunch.

Once we are done, the Alpha took it upon himself to give me a tour around his pack, they have a small grocery store, pack clinic, pack daycare and informed me that they’re pups and teenages attend school with humans not far from the pack they all take the bus to school.

I spent the whole day with the Alpha, he was sharing the history his pack with me and I was just fascinated by it. By the way he spoke you could tell that he is very much proud of his pack and its history.

King James POV

Amalia and I were having our brunch in the garden talking about last night’s even when Jefferson walking in and bowed to us. “Your majesties; I have a letter from King Knight’s adviser to the King.”

He handed me the letter and walked back to where his coming from. I put the letter on top of my newspaper while moving my attention back to Mia, she and I continue with our conversation and having our brunch.

“I am only glad that Samara loved everything about last night, you know how much she is so difficult to please, she even hated her sixteenth birthday party and told us not to throw a party for her on her seventeenth one, that she would spend it at the old age centre” Mia said taking a sip from her tea

“Well she is stubborn just like you my love, and you know was she set her mind to something she is determined to do it.” I said laughing

She just shook her head and turn to gaze at the garden where our children were laying

“James just look at them, our babies are no longer babies now. They don’t even need us anymore; Sam doesn’t even have nightmare anymore…I still can’t believe we got to this point”

I also look at our children and a smile graced to my face seeing how they’re so close to each other, the two are inseparable.

Once Brunch was over we walked back inside the castle, and I made my way to my study to prepare for the open of parliament on Monday morning. Throughout the day I remember the letter and walked to where I put the newspaper, I got the letter and opened it and took my seat and started reading the letter.

To say I was shocked would be an understatement… after reading the letter I called Keith the guard outside my study door and told him to go and get the queen for me.

Minutes later Mia walked in and I didn’t even say anything, I just handed her the letter. “James, what is this? We have to reject this proposal! We can’t let our little girl get married at this young age and to top it all what if something happens to her and we are far away to protect her?” Amalia kept on ranting pacing around my study

“Sweetheart will you stop ranting, and don’t forget we got married when you were just nineteen years old.” I said raising an eyebrow at her

“That was different time” she said glaring at me and walked out of my study

I spent the rest of the day in my study thinking of what Amalia said

The following day, I sent Steve with the letter rejecting the proposal of King Theodore.

To my surprise Steve came back with King Knight and his Adviser, I stood up from my chair and give a small nod to the king. I moved my gaze to Steve and said “Go and call the queen” he bowed and walked out

Amalia walked in my study few minutes later and curtsy to the king and walked towards me.

“King Knight, What brings you to our home?” she got straight to the point and asked the question.

“Queen Amalia, since you and the king rejected my proposal letter for your daughter’s hand in marriage I decided to come in person in front of you.”

“I don’t think your presence will make us change our minds King Knight, our daughter is still young and not ready for marriage” I said in a stern voice looking at him with the same rage he is letting out.

“If I do not get what I want I am afraid that the will be war between your kingdom and mine… you have until end of the week to give me a different answer or I will declare war” he said standing up

“We do not need a week to change our minds…if it a war you want then war yo..-“

I was interrupted by the door opening with Samara walking in.

“I will do it Father! I will marry King Knight, there’s no need to go to war” she said standing firm at the door.

Samara POV

I could help but just think of the ocean blue eyes of king Knight throughout the night and this morning when I woke up they came in to my mind again. I got a text on my cell phone and saw that it is from Jakob.

Jakob: Alpha King just cancelled his visit to the pack, I called Christian and asked                                    how everything went yesterday between them and him; and he said everything went well. His beta said that he will get in touch.

Sam: Thank you for informing me Jake.

I had a normal morning, woke up did my daily routine and joined my family for breakfast in the dining room. After breakfast I walked back to my room to get ready, every Sunday I made it my duty to visit children’s orphanage home and spend the day with them; I just loving being around children so much they just give me hope, and seeing life through their innocent eyes is total blessing to me.

“Rumi is Steve back from his errand?”

“Yes your highness, he must be waiting for you outside by now. The queen asked to see you before you leave the palace.” She said looking back at her tablet

“Okay, do you know why does she want to see me for?”

“No, she just told me to inform you that.”

My parents were acting so strange last night at dinner and even this morning they still gave away the same feeling, I wonder if everything is okay.

I left my bedroom and went to find my mother but didn’t find her there or Sheila in the library, that’s weird mom is always in the library reading books. I decided to walk to father study and that’s when I heard loud voice of my mother and another man barking at each other. I stood on my tracks when I head my father say ‘…King Knight, our daughter is still young and not ready for marriage.’

I can’t believe it, this people are discussing me in there and they didn’t even call me to include me. I paid more attention to what are they saying in the study room and that’s when I heard the king threaten my parents.

I clenched my fist, and I can feel Moon getting irritated. She and I don’t like it when anyone threaten mom and dad or even our kingdom

Dad was about to accept war when I decided to grace them with my presence.

“I will do it father! I will marry king Knight, there’s no need to go to war” I stood my ground at the entrance and looked at everyone in the room and I saw my mom that she was debating to respond

“SAMARA!” my father yelled out my name

I saw the look of hope on King Knight’s face and looked away from him and said to my parents “Dad, mom isn’t this; what I was born for? You two raised me to do all that is necessary to safe our people with anyway possible! Now avoiding bloodshed is my way of doing my part. Beside my marriage with the king of Slovakie will strengthen our economy”

I ended my little speech…while planning thousand ways of how I will kill Knight on our wedding night. I can already see myself holding his head while his body is lying on my feet.

My parents and the king agree to what I said and they all agreed that the marriage will truly strength both kingdoms’ economy. Once everything was finalised I walked out of the study after telling them that the wedding will take place in my kingdom in a month from today.

Shit this is not part of my plan, the plan was to get revenge from the man that is giving me nightmares and then decide on what to do next. I called Rumi to cancel all my appointments and apologies to everyone at the orphanage for cancelling at the last minute.

I decided to take a nap to clear my head.

I was woken up by a knock on my door, took a look at my phone and saw that it’s almost dinner time. Wow I was so drained…never have I ever taken a nap during the day or better yet slept till this late. “Come in” I answered the door and set up on my bed. The door opened only to revile my parents.

“I hope we are not interrupting you sweetie.” Came mom’s voice

“No, I was already up…what can I do for you guys? Mom please don’t tell me you already want to talk about this wedding? I am extremely tired and not in the mood for any planning so please…” I didn’t get to finish my ranting until dad spoke

“Samara, are you sure about this? You know very well we can stand against anything that is trying to shake us. I do not wish for you to marry out of love! You are my only daughter and as a father “ he paused shaking his head.. “ my only wish for you was that you find happiness and marry someone that you love and chose for yourself and to get married over diplomatic affairs or arranged married with a stranger.”

“Sweetie, you can still say no this this marriage, what if you lose control over Moon while you are there? Personally I am against it for you and Moon’s well-being, I am not ready to lose you love, please just don’t do this for us” mom added on what dad said

“Guys I don’t want bloodshed and I am not ready to lose any of you from this war, I am choosing to do this for peace and beside if this king tries something I do not like I will kill him and rule his kingdom” I said with a smirk gracing my face

“What about your true love? You know that wolf have mates! Don’t you want to have what Jakob and Ava have?” mom said in a sad voice

“Mom, Dad please let me do this. I beg both of you to accept my decision and mom if that mate come I will explain my situation to him and we will work around it.”

“Well if you say so then I will support your decision and agree to be on standby for the day I get the call that you beheaded the arrogant king and took over his kingdom.” Dad laugh out loud and stood up “One more thing the wedding will take place in two weeks’ time the King refuses to leave without you and his Kingdom can stay long without its King and now its Queen” Dad said holding mom by her waist and kissed her forehead and walked out leaving mom and I alone.

“Okay sweetheart, you have to get ready we invited your Husband to be for dinner. I just hope your brother and Josh don’t embarrass us all.” I let out a laugh

“Don’t laugh you know very well what those two are capable with.” She paused and looked at me with sparkling eyes and said “Now, what kind of a wedding dress do you want to wear?”

“Well I want something simple and unique a bit of vintage but still say its 2025! How is that? Does it give you an idea of where I am going with this?

“Yes it does, you don’t want any drama on your gown”

Mom walked out of my bedroom as soon as we were done with what I want for my dress and I just told her she can go all out with the decorations of the wedding since well I can never win over her with it. I went to take a shower and let my thoughts take over completely.

“Moon do you think I am doing the right thing?”

“Well you are protecting your beloved home!”

“So you don’t hate me for not waiting for your mate?”

“Right now I am not sure as how I feel yet, but there is something interesting about the king that wants our hand in marriage and as soon as I figure it out then I will make a decision. But one thing is for sure if it bad intentions we terminate him and wait for our mate”

 I let out a laugh, Moon is always thinking ahead.
