The last month has been hectic.
I only saw Chad and Phoenix at the very end of the day, and I was so exhausted from training and the meetings with the Alpha that I rarely got to spend any time with them.
It was hard.
My meetings with the Alpha went really well.
But he would give me what he called 'homework'.
He'd ask me to read these fascinating books that were in his library.
They taught me everything I needed to know, about mates, werewolves, some even mentioned vampires, and witches.
I asked him about it. He told me that this land hadn't seen vampires or witches for centuries. It was rumored that they had died out, but he didn't believe that.
