Love and Sacrifices

Chapter 6

Sara's POV:

Its been 1 month since me and Emily have kissed, or even talked. I don’t know why she keeps ignoring me, I don't get what I did wrong or why she won't talk to me.

I walked into Emily's class ready to do anything to get her to acknowledge me. “Good morning class!" Emily smiled. I saw her look over at me for a little bit and I looked into her eyes trying to get any sign of hate or anything really. But she looked away and went back to speaking, "Okay, everyone open up your History books to page 319." Emily opened up her textbook.

I sat there and crossed my legs.

It only took about a minute or 2 before she then looked at me while everyone was reading and crossed her arms. Emily furrowed her eyebrows. I crossed my arms and stared into her beautiful, crystal blue eyes. I kinda got lost in her eyes for a few seconds. Then she finally spoke, "Get out your book Ms. Saunders!" Emily yelled.

'Ms. Saunders? Did she really'

I mentally growled at her.

I just sat there not doing anything. Pretending like she didn't exist. "Get out your book. NOW!" Emily closed her textbook.

Now everyone was staring at us.

"I think I'm fine." I grinned. "GET OUT OF MY CLASS!" Emily pointed toward the door. I could basically see steam coming out of her ears by now. "Fine!" I got out of my chair, grabbed my History book and walked up to Emily's desk, "Bitch." I said as I slammed my History book down onto her desk. I walked out of class and slammed the door.

I speed walked down the hallway. Halfway down the hallway I started to cry but kept walking with my arms crossed.

'Why wont she talk to me? Its making me get so frustrated.'

I burst through the front doors of the school and ran to my car. I was about to open the door when I heard the schools front door open and slam.

"SARA?" Emily yelled from the staircase in front of the entrance. "What?" I wiped away a few tears.

"What was that back there?" Emily walked a little closer to me. "Exactly! What was that? What’s wrong with you? Why have you been ignoring me for a whole f*****g month? You don’t just do that to someone then ignore them for a mon-" Emily kissed me.

I pulled away out of frustration. "I'm sorry I've been ignoring you." Emily said in a soft voice, "I shouldn't have done that." I started to cry. Emily pulled me into a hug, "W-why have you been ignoring me?" I asked.

"Its too complicated." Emily said. "Okay then, come talk to me when its not so f*****g complicated!" I pushed Emily away and opened my car door. Emily grabbed my wrist, "Sara!?" Emily yelled. "What!" I sobbed. "God! Fine, okay? I-" Emily began to say something but stopped. "You what? I asked. "I think I love you." Emily looked at her feet. I paused for a moment thinking of what to say. I looked at Emily and I could see doubt in her eyes. "I love you too." I jumped onto Emily, wrapping my legs around her, grabbing her face and kissing her passionately.
