Chapter Thirty-Seven The guards had assembled themselves across the front gate. There were six of them and the big guy with no teeth stood in the middle, his shotgun slung loosely in the crook of an elbow. He grinned when he recognized her car. Taz stopped, got out. “I am here to see Allen Kozak,” she shouted across. Toothless did a double take. His jaw set, thinning his lips and Taz knew she had the name right. “He’s here, behind me. But this is private property, lady. I need to see your warrant.” Taz looked beyond, into the compound.
