Chapter Fifteen
The UPS package arrived at the Avondale Sheriff’s Office. Taz picked it up at the front counter and took it back to her desk where she slashed the tape with a box cutter. Inside, the panel of wood with its electrical components sat on top of a blue report folder. The folder seemed mighty thin.
Taz flipped to the last page and started reading the summary: The wood was standard plywood available from any lumberyard. The solenoid valve was a replacement part for a Volkswagen diesel, available from any discount auto-parts store. And the remote servo unit, as Travis had suggested, was from a model plane.
