We arrived in Venice yesterday. I left my mate sleeping in our suite to meet with my childhood friend, Sean. I mate with Sean at a little café down the street from the hotel. He told me that my mother and sister have been staying in the cells for the past two years because my sister tried to leave the pack. Sean provided me with information about the pack businesses, and my stepfather’s mistresses. This made me and my wolf furious. After talking with Sean, I went back to our hotel suite. I called out for my mate, but I didn’t receive any response. I walked to the dining area and found a note on the table.
