Prologue

248 Words
The Prophecy     There will come a time when the darkness comes, the start of a great battle, and a baby will be born in the dark. Raised in sorrow and despair, they will emerge to mend riffs, to heal great numbers, the start of the end.      Yin and yang, two sides. Blood of a wolf and a witch, two halves to correct the centuries worth of tears. One will lead, one will protect. Both have stars, one has a moon, to prove the trust of the Goddess. Both will show them the way, the start of the war, that will finally divide what once was whole.      A brutal beginning, a death will lead to misunderstanding and unnecessary blood, but fire will soar above them all, purifying and aligning what was once divided forevermore.      A race forgotten, a race extinct, will appear where you least expect it. Two instead of one, when together: the greatest one of all, the one who sees what was, and what will be.      A daughter unlike any other, stronger than the past, but weaker all the same. Loyalties will be questioned, and a decision must be made. If she ends, the world ends; but if she lives, the start of the end, a new beginning reborn. A decision with a sacrifice must be weighed. One once lost to become whole, to fix a species deemed lost, and to join it all forevermore. The last daughter, the last battle, the start of a new era.
