Alice’s
The moment Alice opened her eyes, realization immediately hit her. Even without touching her stomach, she can already feel that there’s nothing there anymore. Alice bit her lower lip, trying to suppress the sobs that were coming out of her mouth, and with her shaking hands, she reached out to her stomach, and as soon as it touched the top of her tummy, she couldn’t stop herself from crying anymore when she no longer felt the bump there.
She was screaming, crying her whole heart out. She was crying very painfully, and it was loud enough to echo throughout the whole room. She heard commotion outside of the room, and when it finally opened, she immediately heard her parents running towards her, and the nurses immediately came rushing after.
“Oh my goodness! Alice?! What’s wrong?!”
