Thoughts about last night at the court run in circles in my head as I pace around my room. I have been unable to sleep since the incident and my mind only reeled with the implications of what Freya had done.
Poor girl!
It was my fault for not giving her a proper guide on what and whatnots to do in the court. I had thought her just believing that Lucien will be her protector and mate henceforth was enough. It didn't occur to me to even warn her about his other side.
Freya reminded me so much of my childhood best friend that is probably now assumed to be dead.
