Cameron’s POV
Damn it.
Rachel really does not know where my mother is.
Running my hands through my hair, I curse under my breathe and turn towards the door.
How could she not know?
Rachel and Justin were in on this whole ridiculous plan to overthrow me together.
I thought for sure she would talk, spill the entire plot, with a little…persuading.
But I am certain now that she knows nothing about this part of the plan, the part that doesn't make any sense to me at all.
Did Justin, her secret mate, really not tell her everything?
An uneasy feeling twists my stomach as I think again that I have done the same thing to my own mate…many times, justifying my actions by thinking I was keeping her safe.
Somehow, I feel like Justin's secrets had not been for the same reason as mine.
