Ava’s POV
“Hey.”
Cameron does not respond, just makes his way slowly over to me, his eyes never leaving mine.
“Your mother…”
Cameron reaches me and places his hands around my waist, momentarily making me speechless as he lifts me up and places me on the counter behind me.
Positioning himself between my legs and placing both hands on my face, he leans in close.
“What about her?” He rubs his thumb on my cheeks and I cannot look away from his darkening hazel eyes.
“It doesn’t matter.” I breath as I grab his shirt and pull him against me so that he leans down to place his lips on mine.
“Ava…” Cameron runs his hand down my neck and stops when he gets to my straps, placing a finger underneath it and rubbing his fingers up and down it.
“I couldn’t stay away from you.”
