On her first night in New York, Lilith wasted no time immersing herself in the city's electrifying nightlife. With meticulous care, she and her friend Kacia prepared for the evening's adventures, relishing every moment of their anticipation within the luxurious confines of their hotel rooms. Embracing the grandness of their temporary escape from home, they indulged in the opulent surroundings, savoring the anticipation of the night ahead. As the clock struck 9 pm, a fashionable hour, they embarked on their journey to Club Ecstasy. Both women epitomized s*x appeal, their outfits meticulously curated to command attention. Kacia captivated in a vibrant red bodycon dress, its bold hue and daring silhouette turning heads upon their entrance. Meanwhile, Lilith radiated grace in a champagne pink sequin gown, the shimmering fabric enhancing her every movement. "Satan, learn to trust me, okay?" Lilith began, her voice cutting through the thumping bass of the club. Their mission for the night? To track down the blogger Hazel amidst the lively chaos of Club Ecstasy. As she made her way through the crowded dance floor, Satan remained nearby, ensuring the safety of his sister and her friend. Lilith couldn't help but feel a twinge of irritation at Satan's persistent vigilance. She believed he needed to loosen up a bit and trust in her capabilities. Determined to prove herself, she headed towards the bar in search of a drink and a strategic vantage point from which to locate Hazel amidst the sea of partygoers. "Trust you? I don't even know what the hell you're thinking!" Satan shot back, his gaze briefly meeting Lilith's before sweeping across the bustling club once more. He had slipped away earlier while the girls were getting ready, choosing a discreet outfit of basic jeans and a black t-shirt to blend effortlessly into the crowd. His sole focus was on ensuring the success of their mission, even though he harbored doubts about Lilith's plan. He had overheard their detailed discussion in the car ride and couldn't shake the feeling that his sister was putting herself at risk by essentially acting as bait. "Let's quickly go over the plan again," Lilith said as they reached the bar, leaning in to ensure they could hear over the pulsing music. "I'll intentionally befriend Asher, Cedric, Atticus, and Theron tonight. If things escalate, I need you to take my friend home." Lilith had already strategized with her best friend, so the night was supposed to unfold smoothly. Kacia nodded in agreement, finding no fault in the plan. "f**k that! That plan has so many holes in it!" Satan exclaimed, his frustration evident as he ordered a drink from the bar, seething with irritation. "Don't worry, you know about the panic button, right? Luci's app?" Lilith inquired with a smile, opting for a girly drink instead of shots as she noticed they had caught the attention of others. She needed to maintain her facade as a college student. "Of course, we use it for the escorts," Satan replied, his initial agitation dissipating into a perplexed expression. His brows furrowed as he attempted to grasp Lilith's intention. "What's your point here?" "My point is, I have the stupid app. If something goes wrong, my account is set to ping all four of you with my location and start live recording. Plus I’m more than sure Leviathan hacked my phone," Lilith explained, her tone slightly exasperated as she rolled her eyes. She hated having to justify her plans. With a mischievous grin, Lilith accepted her drink from the bartender, then leaned subtly over the bar, motioning towards Satan with a playful smirk. "Put it all on his tab tonight," she announced, relishing in the small act of defiance. Yes, I am petty. Satan rolled his eyes. "This is still risky," he remarked, taking a sip of his rum. He resigned himself to letting her proceed with her plan, knowing he couldn't convince his stubborn sister otherwise. Her mind was already set, and he didn't have the energy to argue further. It’s been too long of a day. "It's not just about trust, you know," Lilith began, her voice tinged with frustration. "Stop seeing me as just your kid sister and start showing me some respect. This is me stepping into my role as the Queen of Hell," she declared firmly, her tone demanding acknowledgment of her authority. Satan's impulsive nature always irked her; he seemed to act without considering the consequences. Despite her numerous successes, he still underestimated her abilities time and time again, a fact that pissed her off. Kacia intervened, gently pulling the siblings apart. "I believe that's Hazel right over there," she said discreetly, nodding toward the other end of the bar. While Lilith and Satan were engrossed in their argument, Kacia had been discreetly scanning the crowd for their target. Kacia was unwavering in her support for Lilith, believing in her capabilities without question. This belief had been solidified over years of friendship, stretching all the way back to middle school. Kacia knew that when Lilith set her mind to something, there was no one more capable. Lilith was like a sister to her, and she was determined to do everything in her power to support her in achieving her goals. "Alright, I'll be in touch. Here I go," Lilith murmured under her breath, her focus unwavering on her target, Hazel, as she made sure not to draw any attention. With a determined nod, Lilith took a slow sip from her straw, savoring the sweetness of her cocktail. She reached out for Kacia's hand, intertwining their fingers as she led the way onto the dance floor. Drink in one hand they got lost in the hypnotic rhythm of the music, they moved together, their bodies swaying in perfect harmony to the pulsating beats. After a few songs, Lilith drained the last remnants of her drink, sharing a knowing look with Kacia that conveyed their mutual readiness for what lay ahead. With a subtle wink, Lilith excused herself from the dance floor and made her way back to the bar where Hazel sat, her attention still glued to her phone screen, oblivious to the electric energy enveloping the club.
