Chapter Ten

*** Levi's POV ***

    Jessamine sat across from me and was chewing on her lip. It made me want to groan in frustration. I wanted to be the one biting that lip. We had been sitting in her office asking each other basic questions for the past half hour. I found out that her favorite color to wear was black or grey, anything dark really, but her favorite color to look at is dark ocean blue. I discovered that she loved to eat pizza for breakfast and pancakes for dinner. She loves to fight and hasn't lost yet. Every answer she gave me I felt myself falling for her more and more. 

    "Who is Calloway?" I finally asked. Their relationship had been bothering me since I got here just a few hours ago. Jessamine glanced up at me and I could see that she was struggling internally. As mates, I know her wolf will want her to tell the truth, but it seems that Jessa didn't want to be honest about it. 

    "He is my best friend and was supposed to be my beta..." she hesitated. "We loved one another when we were younger but when we found out we weren't mates, we remained best friends," Jessa was pulling at a few strands of hair. I immediately felt anger but I tried to push it down. I took a few deep breaths.

    "Has he ever... touched you?" I said in a low voice. I was trying so hard not to run out of this room and beat Calloway till he was bleeding and begging for mercy. 

    "Alpha, he is a great warrior and we have touched in battle but he has never touched me in a s****l way," Jessa held my eyes with a stubborn glare. She was clearly annoyed that I was acting so possessive. 

    "Jessamine, please stop calling me Alpha, I am your mate," I nearly begged her. "I know that you are not exactly happy with finding your mate, but I am 27 and I have waited 9 years for you. I will do anything to make this better for you. Please just give me a chance." Jessa looked at me with guarded eyes but I could see that some softness was growing in them. 

    "Okay, Levi, I am not thrilled about this, but the least I can do is call you Levi," she said softly and my heart raced at the sound of my name on her lips. I couldn't help myself I stood up and made my way around her desk and kneeled down next to her chair and took her hands in mine. She looked down at me surprised but didn't pull away. 

    "I wish you understood how happy that just made me," I smiled up at my beautiful mate and her eyes softened further. I leaned towards her till my lips were just an inch away from hers. "I won't rush anything between us, I will give you time, but before that, I need to taste you one last time," I said in a raspy voice. 

    I leaned in and devoured Jessa's delicious lips. She seemed hesitant at first but soon her lips feverishly responded. I grabbed her bottom lip between my teeth and bit on it lightly but hard enough that she moaned temptingly. She took her hands and buried them into my hair and pulled slightly. I groaned and pulled Jessa out of her chair so that she was straddling me as we sat on the floor. I moved so that my back was leaning against her desk. 

    My hard d**k was straining against my jeans and when she started grinding her hips against mine I growled and grabbed her hips and dug my fingers into her soft skin. I started trailing kisses down her jaw to her neck and sucked on the place that would bear my mark. She was moaning which was driving me even crazier. All she had on was a thin satin dress, her pert n*****s were hard and rubbing against my chest.  I trailed my kisses ever lower and finally made it to her breasts. I reached up and had my hand playing with one but my mouth sucked on her hard n****e over her black dress. She began to breathe unsteadily as her grinding became jerkier and I could tell that she was about to orgasm. I reached down with my second hand and rubbed her c**t and bit down on her n****e as she came undone in my hands. 

    My d**k was throbbing and I wanted to bury it deep inside of her but I knew it was too soon. Jessa leaned back from me panting and looked at me with shy eyes. "I- I have never felt anything like that before..." she said breathily.

    "You've never touched yourself?" I asked. She nodded shyly and I moaned. Damn, this girl is so f*****g pure and innocent. It was such a turn-on. She looked down at the bulge in my pants and blushed. "Don't worry, I know you need time. I am just going to go take a freezing cold shower." I laughed and stood up and placed her lightly back into her chair. I gave her a kiss on her forehead and went towards the door. 

    "You can stay in the bedroom across from my room," she offered and I laughed again. 

    "Love, like I said I will give you time but I can't give you space, for the rest of our lives I will fall asleep with you in my arms." I shot Jessa a wink and made my way up to her room before she could have a chance to argue.
