POV Cristal

Training goes by slow. So very slow.

Im worried about what Alpha Luka has to talk with me about. Does he still think I could be his mate.

Luka doesn’t end up in my group, I never thought he would. Warrior Tyler would never allow it.

As I’m flipping one of my teammates over my shoulder Commander Tyler calls for everyone to stop. He glares at me while I help my teammate off the ground.

“Everyone practice is over, you may go into the cafeteria to get second breakfast. Except for Cristal.” Of course Tyler won’t allow me to eat with them.

“Commander Tyler I don’t know or care what you have against Crystal but I would like for you to allow her into the cafeteria or I’ll deal with you myself. Maybe you should be the only one not allowed to eat in there” Luka threatens

“Well Alpha if that’s is what you’d like then it may be.” Tyler says bowing his head to Alpha Luka to show his respect before Luka walks off.

I walk inside the pack house to see Luka waiting for me, I thought he would just wait in the cafeteria.

This is the first time I’ve been able to actually get a look at him. He has shaggy dark brown hair with sweet hazel eyes with tan skin. Gosh he look hot. With his compression shirt showing off all his muscles.

He catches me staring and just laughs. “You look pretty good yourself.” He says with a chuckle and I blush.

“I’m so sorry Alpha.” I hope he doesn’t get mad at me.

Luka smells like lavender and sandalwood. He smells so calming.

“Don’t worry about it.” He says as he bumps his shoulder into mine and we both pause.

“Mate”

We say it at the same time.

OH MY GOSH! Alpha Luka is my mate.

Everyone around us stops as they hear what we say and they gasp.

And I do too. I wasn’t expecting my abuser and r****t would create my mate.

Luka takes me into a hug and spins me around. Everyone around us goes running off. Leaving us alone.

We forget all about second breakfast.

He takes my hand and pulls me to the left, to the stairs.

We go up 3 flights of stairs before we stop at a dark wood stained door. He knocks twice before turning the golden knob and opening it.

His dad is sitting at the light red desk by the huge window that go from the floor to the ceilings.

“Son what are you and this.. girl doing here?” He looks me up and down and I know he can smell the fear rolling off me.

He smirks.

Luka must smell it too because he squeezes my hand, and pulls me into his chest to calm myself in his sent.

“Father, Crystal is my mate.” He says it so proudly I can’t help but smile up at him.

He sees my out the corner of his eye and let’s go of my hand to put his arm around my shoulder. Sending sparks through my body.

“Son are you sure? Are you sure you want her? You can always reject her and find someone else.” When Alpha Collin says this it feels like I’ve been stabbed through the heart.

“Yes dad. I want Crystal. I’ve always wanted Cristal.” Luka says with a dark tone, this gives me butterflies and I forget all about the from Alpha Collin’s words.

“Ok son. We will have the Luna ceremony a month after your ceremony.” He nods for our dismissal.

Luka and I walk out and after a few feet he asks, “Cristal, why did you get scared around my father?”

Oh shoot. I don’t know if I should tell him.

“You know that my dad tried to kill your dad right?” Maybe if say this I can save his whole future and he can find a different mate. I’m only going to bring the pack down.

“Yes my mate I’m aware.” He looks down at me with confused eyes.

“Your father doesn’t like that I’m my father’s child and so anytime I would be ‘disrespectful’ I would get put into the basement and your father would either hit me or starve me.” I look away from him.

I try to hide my shame, I don’t want anyone’s pity even if he’s my mate.

“Crystal look at me.” He uses a stern tone and I look at him instantly.

“When I become Alpha I will banish my father. I’ve always planned to banish my father.” He pulls me into a tight hug.

And before I can ask what he means, he asks, “Would you like to go to your mother and we can tell her the news?”

“Yes please!” I just about start jumping. And he laughs.

I convince Luka that we should run through the woods because I haven’t ran in wolf form yet.

My wolf is jumping when I suggest it. Luckily he says yes and I hide behind a tree to strip so that I don’t shred my clothes when I shift.

“You don’t need to hide from me” Luka calls to me.

“I-I know” I stuttered “will you stay in human form while I shift? Since it’s my first time I’ll need you.” He smiles at me.

“Yes of course! But you’ll need to come from behind the tree.” I slowly start walking back towards him.

My wolf is prancing with excitement, one about shift and two about our mate seeing us naked. I shake my head at her.

Luka is staring me down, looking up and down at my exposed body.

“Your gonna need to shift now before I can’t control my wolf and and mate you right here right now.” He says this with smirk on his face and his eyes shifting from his hazel eyes to I’m guessing his wolf’s eyes, deep red.

I blush under his gaze while he licks his lips. My wolf is whining that I won’t just let Luka have us right now.

“I’ll shift and we can have fun later.” I smile at him and now it’s his turn to blush.

After a little while of him talking be through shifting my wolf starts to warn me that it’s about to happen.

My bones start breaking one by one and I can’t stop myself from crying out. I can feel Luka at my head but I’m to focused on the pain to hear the calming words he’s saying.

Once I’ve completely shifted, it’s Luka’s turn to strip and shift. He doesn’t bother to his like I did while undressing. I stare him down and my wolf growls at the sight of him, he just chuckles.

“Latter little one, later” he says while shaking his head causing his longhair to fall in his face.

He goes to take his pants off and my eyes go strait to his large shaft. Ain’t no way that is gonna fit in me and now tear me apart.

As if he heard my thoughts Luka says, “Don’t worry little mate, we’ll take it slow.” I hide my face, because how did he know what I was thinking.

‘You had our mind-link open and send it straight to me’ he scares me as his voice floats through my head.

‘Whatever just shift.’ I say rolling my eyes.

‘Your wolf looks lovely my love.’ Luka tells me bringing me senses back to my wolf.

Amber allows my to look through her eyes once more to see my wolf. She’s a beautiful color.

Deep brown with a red tint.

‘She has bright yellow eyes too’ Luka tells me.

‘Shift already, I wanna see your wolf.’ She smiles and he’s in wolf form quickly.

He’s a light brown with yellow highlights. He’s so beautiful. And I was right, his wolf’s eyes are a deep red.

‘His wolf’s name is Jeff. We’ve been talking through our mind-link’ my wolf tells me before cutting off our link.

Out wolfs take over and we run for hours. I barely notice that I’m hungry from barely eating breakfast and not any lunch.

Luka hears my stomach growl, ‘let’s head back to our clothes so we can get you some food.’ He says through our mind-link.

‘Yes please!’ I say before our wolf’s allow us back to control, now it’s just Luka and me running not Jett and Amber.

When we get back to out clothes we change quickly but I don’t hid this time. Luka stares at me, hungry with lust.

“Later remember” I tell him slowly walking to him. Once I’m in reach of his arm and grabs my waste and pulls my tight to him.

“I don’t think I can wait til later.” Luka whispers in my ear sending heat strait to my core. And he must know it because he smiles.

My stomach growls once more, “you know maybe I can wait, I can’t have my beautiful mate staving on my watch.” He says kissing my forehead.
