Both I and Xavier frowned at our over excited friend who was walking in our table's direction in a very sophisticated dress and six inches heels looking ready to go for a ramp walk. Well, she loves to look attractive and appealing all the time but it was too much for a muddy weather.
"Hey, guys, it's a surprise to find you both here after a long time." She said slipping beside me, avoiding Rain like she doesn't even exist.
"Hey, Char. I don't think you feel surprised, I mean we visit this place often. It just we have been busy for last few months. Anyways, how are you?" I ask her.
"You should have known if you answered my calls or text, Nick. You are changed now. Sometimes I feel like I don't know you anymore." She said in a disappointed tone.
