[ Nicholas ] "Oh no, it has to start now." I groan looking out through the windows as the rainfall took more fierce shape. It's raining like cats and dogs accompanied by loud thunderstorms. "Nick, let's stay here for tonight." I hear Rain's faint voice. "No, Rain, I have to prepare for tomorrow's meeting and the files are in my study room." I tell her and it's true. "The meeting can be rescheduled for tomorrow." Mom reasons. "No chance, Mom. You know me and my working style." I roll my eyes. "Nick, I think you should stay here for tonight. The rain doesn't seem to stop anytime soon and it's already ten." Dad says and as much as I want to run from my parents' suspicious eyes, I think he's right.
