I find myself preparing to thank a number of people for the tenth time. It seems those who were instrumental in my first book remain so in my tenth. For the sake of not repeating myself, I’m tempted to truncate this acknowledgment with the words “to all those whom I’ve mentioned before and will mention again”, but that seems a poor way to honour the extraordinary individuals who have travelled with me as navigators, mechanics and passengers on this continuing road trip, and without whose company and skill, I would have long ago been stopped by the side of the road with my bonnet up.
