I had to keep my anger in check as that sick mother fucker yelled out for Aubrette, but Sumba's response to him surprised me. I had been worried if we released her she would try to get Aubrette to let them go but it seemed she was sick of their antics. I knew of Silva and Parker long before they took Aubrette. Their father is the leader of the seekers. He has nothing to do with them but their so desperate for his approval they call themselves seekers and kidnap fragile young women to drain their magic.
Sumba is a strong witch
In fact she is one of the strongest high priestess's I know of. So maybe having her on our side could benefit us greatly. I was willing to do anything to make sure my mates were safe.
I walked hand in hand with Aubrette as we got Sumba settled in
