Chapter-3: Rebirth of war

I found her in the building where she studied colours. "How are you doing?" I tried to start the conversation, "Well, I think you can meet your sister back again." She turned to me. I continued, "Not in the Black, but the neutral zone."  "Really?" she asked with excitement. I was too surprised by her personality. "How can she believe someone she has just met? Besides, I am of the opposite race from her," I thought.  She was so quiet on the train, which led to the border of the kingdom. I started to feel nervous if she had planned something for me. She and I stepped out of the Great wall of Black and entered the neutral zone. We looked for a plain hillock which was not covered by tall grass so that her sister could find us easily.  I shot an alarm into thin air, which made a loud noise and black flowers in the air. She had taken off all her black disguising clothes, which I had given her when she left her hideout. I felt something nervous and warm, having her standing beside me. After all, it was the first time in centuries, a white and a black stood by each other.  My brother and his girl showed up finally now I can quit this awkward standing thing. My researcher girl ran and hugged her big sister, whom she hadn't seen for a decade.  I walked to my brother, "How do you think what will happen next?" He shouted back at me, "Get down, you i***t!" A boomerang flew towards me, but I bent my back so that it had a close miss. I was shocked, so were the two princesses. A team of white assassins appeared behind the bushes. "I think my princess was so scared to come here alone," my brother said.  "I believe this can be resolved with words," I shouted to the mob. "I don't think so," said my brother. The sisters ran to the mob and tried to get some agreement, but it seemed there was no luck. I tried to call out my researcher, "Are you leaving now? If so, I will continue your research and keep it safe." She hesitated and seemed that she didn't want to leave, but she knew that the soldiers wouldn't let her stay. I could see her gazing at me helplessly, but I could do nothing because she didn't belong to me.  I noticed it had been quite a few minutes that both sides hadn't done anything. I was supposing the assassins to return to their source, but they didn't move a step. I felt I had realized their mission here; that their mission was not to deal with the sisters, but to deal with us. It looked like my brother noticed it either, because he walked up to me saying, "As I had said before, you do whatever you want. Mom, Dad and I will clean up the mess you've made," as he handed me the phone.  The assassins got their weapons ready as they noticed us making a move. "X-287, Y-329," I whispered into the phone, and a second later, the warriors witnessed a black ball emerged flying beyond the Black wall. "I hope to see you again." That was my goodbye to the princesses.  We received a letter from the White soon after the reunion of the princesses. The information in it didn't make me glad at all. The army of White was marching for us. "How could they do something like this?" I was thinking, "They have their princesses back." But I didn't think I would be able to stop the war. I went to my brother. "Hey, how are you doing?" he asked.  Then, he continued, "I don't think we will be able to stop the war. What now, my little brother?" "We always had that group who want the war. What if we will let the fight?" I asked him. He accepted my idea of defending the war.  Then, we had a meeting with every general telling them to protect the kingdom at all costs. There hadn't been much change to the Black army throughout my lifetime, but I wasn't sure with the White army. When I told my brother about it, he said, "Then, why don't we make a sneak up to the White?" I didn't think that idea was too bad.  I made my assistance guard at the Black wall, and we took the usual path in the neutral zone to the wall of White. That time, we thought to dig a hole in the wall is not a good idea. The wall had been dug twice in less than a month. I thought the White guards wouldn't be so stupid to let us dig another hole. Thus, we decided to make up another trick.  I took out a potion and shared it with my brother. Soon, we turned into little birds so that we could fly over the wall without getting noticed. My brother took me where he had gone in his last visits. I had no surprise he had been chased last times he sneaked up to the White. The places he went were the counsellor's house, the police station and the army force of the White border.  Although we were birds, it didn't mean we could go anywhere we like. I was not like my brother; I was scared if anything would go wrong. We had told my parents that we would be staying at the White for some time. Thus, we didn't need to be worried if they would be waiting for us.  We wandered around the forces with some hope we would hear something important about the war. We were lucky that there was a meeting with the commander. They were planning to attack so quickly, and they were over-confident that they would stand victorious.  They were waiting for a weapon which they called "The Solar Crystal". They were planning to attack as soon as they had it. I was quite sure that the crystal they mentioned before would be so damaging. I still wanted to witness the power of "The Solar Crystal", but my brother wanted to check around the market places and museums. Then, I understood the feeling of being a bird. I could steal food while the shop keepers weren't watching. I could go to many more places than I used to be able to with my human form.  My brother showed me the train station and how to get to the capital not as he had ever gone there before. Now, all we had to do is wait until the appearance of "The Solar Crystal".  I returned to the castle to prepare our first battle. I was not a well-trained fighter, but I could do some weapons. The battery is the stardusts as always but I didn't want to waste my stardust, so I just made three sabres each of which were charged by a stardust. I had some sword wielders I had met at high school.  By that time, they had become well-trained soldiers. I handed my stardust sabres to them worry-freely and sent them to the border to fight the first battle against the White. Before they went for the War, they asked me for a goodbye speech. I said, "Whatever happened to your lives, please remember to bring the sabres back." I equipped them with a few more devices which included the visual camera on their eyes and micro-telecommunication devices attached to their ear. Then, I could watch the battle live and command them through the devices. My cousin came to meet me if I was moving the laboratory to the Abandoned forest.  "Not the Abandoned forest. We are moving to Star town," I told him, "I want to move as fast as possible." Star was just a small town and I was not moving my lab to the centre of the town. Star was next to a tall mountain with a tower at its top. I was thinking to move my laboratory there.  I went to go for funding around the cities with my brothers. I needed some money to build up fake stars, which I had been dreaming of since young. These fake stars would be driven by stardust and they would help me observe the world from a wider and better perspective. Mom and Dad always told me that funding was ridiculous because I had much more money than I needed, saved in my account at the royal banking services.  Since I successfully made my first stardust, I had signed agreements with corporations that I would sell my energy to them. I was one of the wealthiest people in the whole country. However, I spared that money to feed the poor and help the needy in the kingdom.  The first battle had finished without much damage on both sides. I had told my three sabre friends, who led the army, to keep it short and less damaging so that I could plan for my second attack. During the fight, my brother, my cousin and me were watching it live from the laboratory which hadn't moved. My friends' fighting skills were quite admiring. I witnessed the power of the solar crystal for the first time and it over-powered the combination of the three stardusts I gave to my friends. They were saved because they were smart. The crystal was wielded by a white gentleman with binary coloured hair. He had his left side of hair coloured in white and the right black.  I remembered the promise I gave to the researcher princess. "Are you leaving now? If so, I will continue your research and keep it safe." But at that time, I had more important things I thought I should be doing. First, I had to plan for the second battle, but I had no idea how to handle it. They hadn't shown the full power of the crystal. To my calculations, it could even exceed the combined power of all my sixteen stardusts. I just hoped for more stars to fall into our Black kingdom. I had a lot of pressures lately and I knew it was such a good time to wander the Abandoned forest.  I made a cup of coffee myself and entered the Abandoned forest. It was so silent there, which had always been my favourite. I needed to rest for a while. I sat down under a tree and looked up at the sky. Stardusts I had were made from the fallen dead stars. I wondered what if I could use a living star to make a stardust. Suddenly, I saw a star fall from the sky. I tried to figure out where it would land. It went towards the center of the Black kingdom. I wonder who was going to be the lucky person at this point. I ran back to the castle and tried to connect the head of the towns near where the stardust fell. I told them the one who could bring the stardust to the capital would be rewarded well. But I couldn't wait without doing something from the castle. I took the fastest train to those parts where I thought the fallen star landed.
