Tadeu and Dércio got out of the car and went to meet Lucas.
"Thank you for collaborating with us so far...I'm sorry for the men you lost"
Lucas cracked a smile.

Tadeu extended his arm and Lucas returned the greeting.
Tadeu saluted and Lucas did the same.
Lucas got in the car and drove away.
Tadeu and Dércio watched the sixth base's group leave.

Both got into the car and left.
