FLORA’S POV I took a step back, my heart pounding so hard it felt like it would leap right out of my chest. I needed to think, and I needed to think fast. There had to be a way out of this mess—a way that didn’t involve being manhandled out of here by Jayden’s goons. An idea hit me like a lightning bolt.
