Finally, we pulled up to the cabin, and honestly, all I wanted at that moment was to get inside and start making lunch for the guys. My stomach was starting to grumble, and I knew theirs had to be too. Keeping them hungry for too long was never a good idea. They got cranky fast, and when that happened, the teasing started, followed by the bickering, and eventually it turned into a whole thing that nobody wanted to deal with. I jumped out of the truck the second it stopped, stretching out my legs and arms as a yawn escaped me. That long nap on the drive had worked wonders.
